| “ | Stirred by the Monster denizens of Light Island, the Phosphoran Phlox has arisen! Is this entity the flower or the Monster? In short, it's both... and it's neither. The true nature of the Titansoul is complex: it's a physical manifestation of the 'soul' of the Phosphora Titan, but it also appears to have a life-force distinct from its Titanic host. Light Island Monsters play a vital role in its inspiriting, conferring Soul'er Power by 'Linking' to the Titansoul and progressively raising its power level. The Phosphoran Phlox is silent, but as its Soul'er Power grows, it is able to exercise astounding musical control over its environment: manipulating the Aurora Monstralis overhead, conjuring dazzling light effects along the Titan's brow, and transforming nodules into musical lamps!
Phosphora's desire to join in the song is no doubt inspired by its mentor's admiration of the Colossals' musical gifts, and the Phosphoran Phlox helps to cement the Titan's place in the Monster World. |

Description[]
Phosphoran Phlox is a Titansoul that is found on Light Island. It was added on October 9th, 2024 during version 4.5.0. As a Titansoul, it is obtained by purchasing it in the Market for 10,000,000 Coins (
) as an inactive flower, which then can be activated by linking Monsters to it via Soul'er Power. By default, its incubation time is 12 hours long. As a Titansoul, its currency generation is dependent on the amount of Monsters that are linked to it. The Goal for placing a Phosphoran Phlox rewards the player with 1,000 Shards (
) and the Goal for linking a Monster to a Phosphoran Phlox rewards the player with 500 Shards (
).

The Phosphoran Phlox has a complex collection of musical parts in the island's song broken down in four stages.
- Stage 1 has the Phlox emitting a breathy choir-like sound while it controls the Aurora Monstralis from overhead.
- Stage 2 has it creating a sound similar to a metallic percussion instrument akin to that of a nail tree or a glockenspiel, as it conjures some light effects across the Titan's brow.
- Stage 3 has it manipulating the nodules lining the back of the Titan’s head to make sounds similar to a synth lead.
- Stage 4 has it playing all previous sounds from previous stages.
VSTs[]

Virtual Studio Technology is an audio plugin software that has libraries of sound effects and synthesized instruments. Within these libraries are SoundFonts, which are the individual effects and instruments themselves. The Monster-Handlers utilize several VSTs to create the sounds of instrumental and sometimes vocal Monsters.

Obtaining[]
The Phosphoran Phlox becomes available in the Market after completing the Earth Island Colossal Conundrum. To fully activate the Phosphoran Phlox Titansoul, you will need to Link four unique Monsters of each rarity to the Titansoul. For every four Monsters of each rarity you successfully fill (e.g. four Common Monsters), it will unlock the next group (so if you fill out all four common Monsters, it unlocks the ability to link Rare Monsters). Linking four Monsters of a rarity does not guarantee a new track because their currency production may not match the Titansoul's Soul'er Power needs. If you have linked all 12 monsters and are still missing a track or two, you should feed your monsters and increase their happiness, or just link Monsters with a higher currency production. Once all 12 required Monsters have been Linked to the Titansoul, you will be able to fully activate the Titansoul, also activating the Light Island Titan, Phosphora.
Statistics[]
Currency Distribution[]
The Phosphoran Phlox has a unique way of distributing currencies; the Goal to collect all Titansoul Reward types on Light Island insinuates that there are 6 different reward types (it is currently unknown exactly how many different currencies it'll produce). Instead of the monster producing currencies on its own, whatever Monsters you link to the Phosphoran Phlox will produce other currencies. The difficulty of the Monster linked will impact the type of currency and the amount of it.

Soul'er Power[]
Titansoul Soul'er Power Menu
When you fill the inventory of the Phosphoran Phlox you must link Monsters to it. You will only be able to link one Monster a day for free, with any extra linkings costing Coins (first 10,000 then 100,000 Coins (
)) and then Diamonds (starting at 5 Diamonds and increasing by 5 Diamonds after every purchase); the cost will reset at 3:00pm UTC. The cost to unlink is the same. Once linked to the Phosphoran Phlox, a Monster will contribute a certain amount of Soul'er Power. The amount contributed is dependent on the Monster's Coin production, with higher production rate giving more Soul'er Power. There are four nodes seen inside the Titansoul menu, These are filled by getting a certain amount of Soul'er Power, with each one being filled unlocking a new sound to be produced by the Phosphoran Phlox. Once all four nodes have been filled, you are able to wake up the Titan in the same manner as the Colossal Conundra.
Note that Dipsters cannot be linked to the Phosphoran Phlox.
Strategy[]
Filling up a Titansoul's Soul'er Power is directly related to the Currency rate of the Monsters linked to it, The Soul'er Power progress is completed at 2,800 Soul'er Power. To fill the Soul'er Power progress, you need to Link Monsters that combine to a total of 2,800 Coins per minute or more as their Currency rate.
As there doesn't appear to be any advantage to Linking Monsters with more Soul'er Power than is strictly needed (the Coin reward type is far below what the Monsters would produce on their own, and the Shard reward type is a fraction of that of Shard income from other sources), while there is a known disadvantage due to Linked Monsters no longer generating Bonus Items, one strategy is to Link only the bare minimum required in the form of low Currency rate Monsters.
The following production rates are based on level 15 Monsters at 100% happiness. For a more detailed view, see each Monster's statistics section on their respective pages, the Monster Resource Generation Tables page, or the Light Island page's strategy section.

As an example, based on this table alone (at the time of writing), one might choose Pluckbill or TooToo (188 Coins/minute), Spytrap (216), Fiddlement (246), Sooza (249), Rare Gob (188), Rare Pluckbill (240), Rare Fiddlement (312), Rare Sooza (336), Epic Furcorn (180), Epic Kayna (188), Epic Flowah (216), and Epic Boskus (246), giving a total of 2,806 Soul'er Power.
However, individual Monsters, Island compositions, other Strategies, and future (variant) Monsters may lead to different choices.
For example, if the Monsters can be leveled up to Level 20 (at the expense of many Treats), with an eye on Bed use, and prioritizing Monsters that would reach their Currency cap quickly to minimize unrealized gains, you might instead choose to use Whiz-bang (246), Kayna (138), Boskus (182), Flowah (172), Rare Whiz-bang (288), Rare Kayna (138), Rare Pluckbill (278), Rare Flowah (218), Epic Whiz-bang (390), Epic Kayna (218), Epic Boskus (286), and Epic Flowah (250), giving a total of 2,804 Soul'er Power with Monsters that would be less likely to produce Bonus Items and taking up fewer Beds.

Notes[]
- Its name comes from both an adjectivization of the Light Island Titan's name, Phosphora, as well as the name of a flower, "phlox".
- The Phosphoran Phlox was the first Titansoul Monster to be introduced, releasing on October 9th, 2024.
- The Phosphoran Phlox was the first Monster to directly influence the appearance of an Island when playing its part.
- Upon its initial release, the Phosphoran Phlox was able to be viewed in the Recording Studio. However, when selecting it, it would crash the game. This bug has since been fixed and no longer appears in the Recording Studio menu.
- Several miniature Phosphoran Phlox flowers can be seen among the background Decorations on Seasonal Shanty. You can also find two other miniature Phlox flowers near the Titan's eyes on the SkyPainting Island Skin. These were added all the way back in SkyPainting 2023.
- At initial release, the second stage of the Phosphoran Phlox was impossible to obtain on Mirror Light Island, as no Rares had been made available on the Island to link to and the Colossal Conundra only provided 3 unique Rares available on Light Island instead of the necessary 4. This was then made possible once Rare Fiddlement was added.
- Before Cruv'laaphtian Crocus released, The Phosphoran Phlox had the longest name out of all Common Monsters, beating Teeter-Tauter just at 16 characters.
- Phosphoran Phlox is the first Monster species to make its series debut on Mirror Light Island, as every other Light Island Monster species had been released before Mirror Light Island came out.
- The Phosphoran Phlox is the first Monster to play more than one track at a time.
- The Book of Monsters shows the Phosphoran Phlox within the Common, Rare, and Epic pages within the monster book. This is likely to confirm that the Phosphoran Phlox and other Titansouls will not be getting rarities in the future.
- The player has to wait 160 days to get the Phosphoran Phlox, which is the longest required wait time for a non limited-time monster to be required to be obtained.
- The colors of the light and aurora change depending on the island / Island Skin.
- On Light Island, the light and aurora are a normal yellow orange.
- On the SkyPainting Island Skin, the Aurora changes to a bright pink whilst the light is rainbow colored. Additionally some of the animations for the Nodules change slightly due to the fact they were replaced with the SkyPainting decor.
- On Mirror Light Island, the Aurora changes to a bright blue whilst the light changes to light green both on the left side of the island, which shifts back to the standard color on the right.
- Phosphoran Phlox is the only Titansoul to be released in 2024.
- Phosphoran Phlox's name was first found out with an App Store post. Other Monsters, such as Blarret and Auglur, also had their names revealed in this way.
- Before version 4.8.2, you could only sell the Phosphoran Phlox from the Nursery for 7,500,000 Coins (
). After version 4.8.2, you can't sell Titansouls, including Phosphoran Phlox, at all.
