Perplexplore is an Auxiliary Seasonal Event celebrated on Fire Oasis, and is an Element manifested by Spurrit. It is a Monster World holiday themed after exploration, discovery, and science. Perplexplore is celebrated from mid May to the end of May. It is also celebrated during a short-term Out of Season Event in mid-November during Feast-Ember, and in a Time of the Season promotion during Anniversary Month.
During Perplexplore, the following are available: Spurrit (and its Rare and Epic variants), event themed Costumes, event themed Decorations, event themed Obstacles, and the Seasonal Island Skin. There are also special sales and promotions, and sometimes new content is released.

In 2023, an Island Skin with helpful boosts was released for Fire Oasis. The skin decorates the Island for the Perplexplore season and changes the appearances of Obstacles. It is available to purchase for 
1,250 or $5 USD, but a trial is also available for free for the duration of the event.

History[]
Below details the history of past Perplexplore celebrations.
Perplexplore 2023[]
Perplexplore started on Wednesday, May 17th and ended on Monday, May 29th. This was the first celebration of Perplexplore that started off with Spurrit being added to Fire Oasis. It also added Rare Wubbox on Fire Haven and Epic Sneyser on Fire Oasis and Amber Island. The Perplexplore Island Skin was also released.
Perplexplore 2024[]
Perplexplore started on Wednesday, May 15th and ended on Monday, May 27th. The event introduced four new Seasonal Costumes (for Maw, Woolabee, Sneyser, and Cherubble), four new Seasonal Decorations (the Helmet Rack, the Campfire, the Expedition Tent, and the Armillary Sphere), and the discovery of Epic Spurrit on its respective Islands. This was also the first Perplexplore to feature Rare Spurrit, which had released in Spurrit's Out of Season event in November last year. The event also introduced Epic Phangler, along with Mimic and Wubbox on Fire Oasis, and the long-awaited Map update in Version 4.3.

During this promotion, all Rare and Epic Monsters on Fire Oasis become available on their respective Islands.
Best in Glass[]
During this promotion, all Fire Oasis Epics become available to buy or breed. This promotion happened in Perplexplore 2023.
Rare When You Need 'Em[]
During this promotion, Rare Naturals from the Fire Islands become available to buy or breed for a limited time. This promotion has happened for both Perplexplore and Feast-Ember.
Winging it[]
During this promotion, Rare Grumpyre, Rare Humbug and Rare Kazilleon become available on their respective Islands. This promotion happened in Perplexplore 2024.
Bone to Pick[]
During this promotion, all Bone Element Rares become available to buy or breed. This promotion gave players a chance to collect the Bone Element Rare Flex Eggs for Adult Syncopite.
Heat of the Moment[]
During Perplexplore 2023, all Fire Rares from the Fire Islands became available to buy or breed. A different promotion of the same name happens during Feast-Ember every year.
Glass Act[]
Starting on May 9th, 2024, one week before Perplexplore started, Fire Oasis got discounted by 50%. The promotional image also includes a teaser for an upcoming costume during the event. The costume was Observatoribum for Sneyser.
A Rare Analysis[]
During this promotion, Rare Spurrit becomes available on Fire Oasis and Seasonal Shanty.
Out of Season[]
Perplexplore's Out of Season Event sale happens 6 months after Perplexplore and falls in mid-November during Feast-Ember.

- The hat closely resembles Monster-Handler Matt's pith helmet because Warden E Spurrit gave off the hat to Matt.
- During the May 2022 My Singing Monsters Live event, Monster-Handler Matt mentioned that the island Perplexplore could later be celebrated on would "have themes of exploration, or ingenuity, or of Monsters coming together to problem-solve a particular issue, a particular challenge that they undertook". This later turned out to be Fire Oasis.
- During the May 2022 My Singing Monsters Live event, Monster-Handler Matt said that Perplexplore is about lifelong learning, appreciation for scientific study, experimentation, exploration and learning more about the world around you, whether that be the human or Monster World.
- The name "Perplexplore" is a portmanteau of the words 'Perplex' and 'Explore'.
- Perplexplore also happens during Feast-Ember's Out of Season event.
- When Spurrit and its variants are not available and not discovered, the notice mistakenly says "during the Seasonal Event of Perplexplore in the month of June" rather than "during the Seasonal Event of Perplexplore in the month of May".
