Strategy

As an Air () and Cold () Monster, Pango is naturally strong against Plant () Monster attacks, but it is weak against Earth () attacks. It is also weak against Water () instead of resisting it because of its accompanying Cold ( elemental typing and weakness, since weaknesses take priority over strengths. However, its Cold () moves, Frostbite, and especially, Serving of Just Ice, provide strong hits against Earth () Monsters.

Costume choice:

• Serving of Just Ice is an extra move, which is a Cold () move that is stronger than Frostbite, making the latter move redundant. However, it is only accessible to Pangos level 15 or higher.
• PosiTRONic replaces Flightless Fancy with a musical move. It is stronger than Beak Bristle, however, it is not good for battling Deedges and their derivatives that have Water () because even though Pango has 2 musical moves, the only element it has is Cold (), which is weak against these monsters.

Notes

• Pango's outfit "Serving of Just Ice" is a pun on "serving of justice".
• When playing the “Beak Bristle” move, it plays a rhythm similar to part of “Tutira Mai Nga Iwi”, a Maori folk song.
• Update 3.2.0 permanently changed the price of many costumes. Serving of Just Ice changed from 155 (discounted) and 232 (full price) to 25 (discounted) and 37 (full price).
• PosiTRONic currently isn't used for any Battle Quest.
