Paironormal Monsters are a class of Monsters in My Singing Monsters. They are unique in that they possess two distinct forms across different islands (Major and Minor) with different sounds, appearances and animations - the Major is available to be bought or bred on the main Magical Islands during the day 6:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. on the player's timezone, whilst the Minor is available on the Mirror Magical Islands at 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 A.M.

Obtaining

Paironormal Monsters can be obtained by buying or breeding. Both forms are available for 14 hours every day; the Major form is available on its respective main Island from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and the Minor form is available on its Mirror Island from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Note that, unlike with most Monsters that can only be obtained at certain times, this time window is based on players' own local time zone rather than Big Blue Bubble's.

Notes

• The Paironormal wordmark is an ambigram, meaning it reads the same upside down as it does rightside up.
• The name "Paironormal" is a pun, combining the words "pair" (referring to the Monsters' dual forms) and "paranormal."
• Paironormal Monsters are bred the same way as the Single-Element Ethereals, using the Island's Quad and any of the Triple-Element Monsters on the Island.
• The lack of a "Paironormal Element" in place of other individual Elements implies there could possibly be "Paironormal Islands," following the same formula as Mythicals, Ethereals, and main Seasonals, all originating on Islands before getting their own.
• There are 2 windows where both Major & Minor forms of a Paironormal are available: 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and 6:00 A.M. to 8:00 A.M.
• The Minor forms of the Paironormals and Primordials are the only Monsters to be exclusive to the Mirror Islands.
• The Paironormals seem to have a big relation with the number 2, likely due to the fact that they have 2 forms;
  • Both monsters take multiples of 22 treats to feed.
  • Both monsters take up 2 beds.
  • Both monsters give 220,000 Xp when placed.
  • Both monsters are a size of 2 x 2.
  • There appears to be a pattern with the releases of the Paironormals, which is that they are being released in the order that their Islands released (Hairionette came first, and Psychic Island was the first Magical Island to be released, and then Owlesque released second, and Faerie Island was the second Magical Island to be released). If this pattern continues, then the Bone Island Paironormal will release before the Light Island Paironormal.
