| “ | Come one, come all! Well, all Paironormals, that is. The qualifying quartet of four Core Elementals - Control, Hoax, Ruin, and rounded out by Depths - can Transpose themselves to the Beyond by tapping into a special spacetime-folding ability that comes naturally to one of them (and was taught to the remaining three). Their carnivalistic destination seems oddly foreign to the Monster World, and were it not for the residents' inclination to the musical, the "island" could easily be passed off as belonging to a totally separate dimension of the multiverse. Weaving pathways meander this way and that, and a panoply of funfair curios float in orbit around the central concretion. It goes without saying that Paironormal Carnival's defining attribute is its quantum musical modality. Bright and cheerful while in Major mode, with Monsters resonating with Starpower, the Carnival undergoes a startling transformation to be gloomy and sinister in Minor mode, with Wildcard generation reflecting the cosmic chaos. The Paironormal population follows suit, of course, swapping to their Minor forms and unsettling all those who venture here. But it's fun to get scared… isn't it? Prolonged exposure to the thin atmosphere of the Carnival tends to result in contracting an unusual malady called Space Circus Fever. | ” |

About[]
Paironormal Carnival is an Island where all Major or Minor Paironormals can be found. Uniquely, Paironormal Carnival is two distinct Islands, referred to as Major Mode and Minor Mode, both with completely different songs. Major Mode was added on October 1st, 2025, in Version 5.0.0, and Minor Mode was added on October 29th, 2025, in Version 5.1.0. It is located in the Beyond, with the Major Mode being in the Main Timeline and Minor mode being in the Mirror Timeline.
Paironormal Carnival is unlocked at Level 22. Major Paironormals on the Magical Islands and Minor Paironormals on the Mirror Magical Islands can be Transposed to their respective mode on Paironormal Carnival after they are fed to Level 18. Monsters can be bred on Paironormal Carnival, or brought from the Market.
Paironormal Carnival uses unique variants of the Castle, Breeding Structure and Nursery, known as " "[Structure Name]" of the Beyond", and a unique structure known as the Centri-Fugue can be used to obtain the different forms of Monsters. No other structures are available on the Island.

Breeding[]
Breeding on Paironormal Carnival is relatively simple, requiring two Monsters with the target Monsters elements. Multiple combinations can obtain the same Monster, so for simplicity, only one combination will be listed per Monster. Other combinations can be found on that Monster's page.
In Minor Mode, breeding is not possible due to the Breeding Structure being permanently locked, making breeding only available in Major Mode.
Commons[]
Single Element Paironormals cannot be bred except through using a combination that already contains them. To get them, they must either be bought from the Market or teleported from their Magical Island. Doubles are bred with two Singles and Triples are bred with a Single and a Double.

Special Features[]
Obstacles[]
Removing the curios the island earns the player Experience (
) and it opens up space to place more Monsters or Decorations. Removed obstacles are not gone permanently; they can be bought back with Coins (
) under the decorations section in the Market. In total, it costs 11,550 Starpower (
) to remove all obstacles from the Island.

Castle[]
- Main article: Castle
To be placed on an Island, each Monster requires a specific number of beds. The Castle can be upgraded in tiers to unlock more beds. Castle bed space is shared by both Modes of Paironormal Carnival, regardless of whether or not the Paironormal has been filled out. Once a Paironormal has been filled out, however, it will take double the bed space.

Strategy[]
Starpower are a crucial resource, necessary for buying things from the StarShop.
While the song of the Island is crucial, users may also want to use some of these numbers to help with planning which Monsters to feed first and make 100% happy first, as well as plan frequency of shard collection. The numbers below are as follows:
| Rate | Rate of income (per week) per bed at level 15 |
| Max | Maximum income per bed at level 15 |
| Time | Time to maximum income at level 15 (shown as Days : Hours : Minutes : Seconds) |

Notes[]
- Paironormal Carnival is the only Island to:
- Use Starpower (
) as a main currency and also technically the only Island to have Monsters directly produce Starpower, as Tribal Island itself rewards Starpower to the player.
- In Minor Mode, the monsters produce Wildcards (
), making it the first Island to have monsters directly produce that as well.
- In Minor Mode, the monsters produce Wildcards (
- Have four main Island structures.
- Have a Castle that is larger than 4 x 4, being 7 x 7.
- Have obstacles of only one type and multiple sizes (as opposed to the Ethereal Islets, which have obstacles of both types but only one size).
- Said obstacles, the Curios, are the first obstacle to be neither tree nor rock.
- Have its obstacles be bought with Coins (
) instead of Diamonds (
). - Have the same name in both timeline variations.
- Use Starpower (
- Both forms in Jerm along with Minor Shhimmer are the only monsters as of now play throughout the whole song.
- Both forms of Paironormal Carnival seem to be right underneath one another.
- You can see a second upside-down "Castle" of the Beyond underneath both modes of the carnival, it’s a lot more visible in Minor Mode though.
- Paironormal Carnival is the second Island after Seasonal Shanty to not appear to be set on top of a Colossal, Titan, or lifeform-resembling structure. There are no visible eyes on its underside to elude to such.
- "Space Circus Fever" is likely a reference to the 1998 video game Starshot: Space Circus Fever.
- Paironormal Carnival was the first Island released on the main timeline map since the Map update in version 4.3.0.
- Paironormal Carnival was the first breeding Island released since Mythical Island and the first Quad breeding Island since Magical Sanctum.
- In the Minor Mode of Paironormal Carnival, it uses the same song structure and bpm as the main Island, but with the keys of the song flipped.
- Currently, both songs have their monsters play almost exactly in the same parts, with the only difference being that Minor Shhimmer plays for the whole song in Minor Mode.
- Paironormals share the same level, name, placement and muted/unmuted state on both sides of the carnival.
- Both forms both need their own seperate beds though.
- Paironormal Carnival is the latest island to have a different critter design in the mirror timeline since the first four Mirror Natural Islands. The Critter flips upside down depending on what timeline it is in, with only the eye shape being the same orientation.
- Coincidentally, Paironormal Carnival's Major Mode released in a major update (version 5.0.0), while its Minor Mode released in a minor update (version 5.1.0).
- In Minor Mode, it applies a darker overlay on everything except Monsters.
- This is the first Island in the whole franchise to do this.
- Certain Decorations that emit light however glow in the dark and aren't affected by the overlay, some of these include:
- The dangling objects on the Odd-o-Mobile's hand.
- The candle flames on Kab's Wax and the Makeshift Altar.
- The inside core of the Harmonorb on the Harmonorb Holder.
- The rim of the portal on the Cave Crystal Teleporter.
- Some of the electricity and lights on the Orb of Aklino.
- The main eye on the Optiglowbe.
- The lightning bolt on the Macho Monument.
- The eyes on the Spirit of Creation.
- The pods on the Spatial Sapling.
- Some of the ice fractals on the Cold Globe.
- The stars on the Sweetstreamz Tree.
- The lights and Smunkins on the Frightful Fripperies and the Smunk-o-Lantern Patch.
- The fire pit on the Creepy Cauldron.
- The areas inside the guitar and the flowers on the Heartstrings Stirring.
- The area around the Colossingum note on the Colossal Trophies.
Different colored Medium Curios.
