“ | The Hoax Paironormal lives by the four D's: deceive, dissemble, dissimulate and distract! Owlesque's Major and Minor forms symbolize the false projection of ourselves that we present to others, and the true self that we keep concealed. Yet, neither form is any less lovely than the other: with a simple flip, both aspects of Owlesque are equally striking, offering an unsettlingly strigine elegance and eye-catching markings (if you know which eye to catch). For all its supposed trickery, this Paironormal's existence encourages radical acceptance of all aspects of ourselves, and its piercing eyes (both camouflaged and corporeal) dare you to believe that beauty is simply a matter of perspective. | ” |

Virtual Studio Technology is an audio plugin software that has libraries of sound effects and synthesized instruments. Breeding[]
Owlesque's forms are available during different times of the day, with its Major form being available from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM (local time), while its Minor form is available from 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM (local time).
When available, Owlesque can be bred using Pladdie and any Triple-Elemental Monster on Faerie Island.
Note that these breeding possibilities are not guaranteed to produce a Owlesque.
Out of all these Pladdie and Bridg-it is the best choice, due to Bridg-it having a shorter failure time compared to Ziggurab, as well as its egg being disposable to Boskus's Vessel, which is the cheapest Vessel, compared to the other Triple-Element Magical combinations.
Likes[]
Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree or a Primordial Monster on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Owlesque:
- Squot (requires level 9)
- Odd-o-Mobile (level 15)
- Optiglowbe (level 10)
- Star Rocks (level 12) (

Notes[]
- Owlesque's sound was first teased in The Exploratory Compendium of Monstrology for Season of Love 2025 video.
- It was also hinted at in the Department of Monstrous Anomalies: "Forest Threshold" video.
- Owlesque's name is derived from "owl" and the suffix "-esque", which means "resembling" or "in the style of", referencing how the Monster resembles an owl in its Major form.
- Owlesque takes inspiration from scrapped concept art for Tweedle of the same name.
- Owlesque is the third Monster on Faerie Island to be a reused Natural concept. The first was Floot Fly and the second was PongPing.
- All of this was acknowledged by the Monster Handlers in the March 2025 MSM Live, whilst also adding that contrary to popular belief, Owlesque’s design actually came before the name was chosen[1].
- Owlesque is the third Monster on Faerie Island to be a reused Natural concept. The first was Floot Fly and the second was PongPing.
- Owlesque is currently the only Monster species to make its series debut on Mirror Faerie Island, as every other Faerie Island Monster species had been released before Mirror Faerie Island came out.
- This will no longer be true once the Faerie Island Titansoul comes out.
- Owlesque is the second Paironormal Monster to release overall.
- Owlesque, Hairionette and BeMeebEth are the only monsters that do not consume Treats in multiples of 5 when fed. At Level 1, it consumes 22 Treats per Feeding, and this is multiplied accordingly as it levels up.
- Owlesque's forms represent two different ideals of masking: its Major form represents it masking its personality and identity, to blend in and fit in with others, while its Minor form represents unleashing its true self.
- Its design incorporates butterfly wings with eyespots, a form of mimicry used by certain animals to deceive other species.
- Unlike Hairionette, Owlesque's Minor form has a different memory game sound compared to its Major form.
- What appears to be Owlesque's eyes in its Major form are actually its claws, and the tuft of feathers seen in the center of its face hides its real eye.
