“ | This amphibious hybrid of Plant and Water is comfortable in any environment. The Monster's 'roots' are actually powerful tentacles that carry the Oaktopus rapidly across landscapes, and propel it efficiently through water. | ” |

Strategy[]
As a Plant () and Water (
) Monster, Oaktopus is naturally strong against Water (
) and Cold (
) Monsters and attacks, but is weak against Air (
) and Plant (
). Unfortunately, it lacks any costumes that give you the Air (
), Earth (
), or Cold (
) elemental moves, thus missing out on dealing strong damage to Dandidoo and Reedling.
Costume choice:
- Bred Delicious is a straight upgrade of the Musical move, providing a slight notable boost in damage.
- Cushy Curlers is a straight upgrade of the Plant move, providing a notable boost in damage.
Notes[]
- The move "Rumble Rasp" sounds a lot like a musical term “Mumble Rap”.
- The move "Tentacle Canticle" sounds like "Scarborough Fair".
- The move "Cushy Curlers" is a reference to a song from the 1988 film "Oliver & Company". In it an animated character sings a song to this tune, in part with curlers in its hair.
- Update 3.2.0 permanently changed the price of many costumes. Cushy Curlers changed from 80
(discounted) and 120
(full price) to 20
(discounted) and 30
(full price).
- The name of TP'd Shoubadour may be a pun on "troubadour" (a composer of lyric poetry in the Middle Ages) and how Oaktopus sings (a raspy "shoo-way-doo").
