Noggins are basically musical rocks. Deeply in tune with the Earth, their simple rhythms echo an Island’s pulse. The sensation of reverberation produced by a Noggin motivates all other monsters.

Strategy[]

As an Earth () Monster, Noggin is naturally both strong against and resistant to Air () Monsters and attacks, but is weak against Cold (). Unfortunately, none of the costumes give you the non-Earth elemental moves especially Water (), which is one of Cold's () weakness.

Costume choices:

  • Chalk-full is a straight upgrade of the Musical move.
  • Kinetic Kicks is a straight upgrade of the Earth () move.
  • HELPful Rings is a straight upgrade of the Musical move. This is more preferable than Chalk-full because HELPful Rings has 5% more power than Chalk-full.

Notes[]

  • When Noggin plays the "Earthbeat" move, it mimics a heartbeat or the first four notes of Drumpler's move Flim Flam. It also sounds like a heartbeat.
  • When Noggin plays the "Paradiddle" move, it plays a drum rudiment called the single paradiddle.
  • Noggin is the only single elemental monster to not have a coverage move.
  • Slideshow Intern is a reference to the "Pitch Imperfect" 2.4.1 update trailer.
  • Noggin has the lowest stamina stat of any monster eligible for the Colossingum.
  • Noggin is one of the two monsters to have more than 3 costumes at the release of The Colossingum. The other is Mammott.
  • Noggin requires the least cumulative time of any monster to reach Level 20, and is in fact so low that it can reach max level in less than a day.
    • Noggin is also the cheapest monster to train to Level 20, only requiring a cumulative fee of 1,895,870 coins.
  • Update 3.2.0 permanently changed the price of many costumes. HELPful Rings changed from 55 Diamonds (discounted) and 82 Diamonds (full price) to 33 Diamonds (discounted) and 49 Diamonds (full price).
