Mythical Monsters are a special class of Monsters encountered in My Singing Monsters: Dawn of Fire. Like the Seasonals, they can be teleported to Wanderer Island once they reach Level 20. Their teleporting price cost Essences instead of Coins.

Mythical Monsters are elusive limited-time Monsters that only become available for purchase and/or breeding during special times. They can be teleported to Wanderer Island at Level 20. They cannot breed.

Each Mythical Monster is tied to a Mythical Event, a specific month of the year where they become available. For example, Buzzinga becomes available during its Mythical Event in November. It is also possible to acquire these Monsters during "Mything Link" promotions, which happen six months before/after the Mythical event takes place, during Anniversary Month where all Mythicals become available, or during other special sales. Mythicals that are obtained will stay on the Island unless they are sold.

Different from the Naturals, the way they are bred is not dependent on their elements, and is instead a unique individualized combination of two Triple-Element Monsters that share at least one element with each other. These combinations will only work if the Mythical Monster is currently available, however, and they are not guaranteed to succeed.

Unlike in the original game, Mythicals in Dawn of Fire are only available for a limited time, as they are said to act like cryptids of the Monster World at this point in the timeline.
- Additionally, the Mythicals do not have their young forms depicted in cave paintings. This can also be said for the Seasonal Monsters.
According to the 12th Anniversary My Singing Monsters Live, the initial Mythicals were "pet projects" for the Colossals after they made the Natural and Fire Monsters, with the exception of Anglow.
There appears to be a pattern with the breeding combination, which all the Elements of the Monsters in the original game combination would be pushed back by one, arranged by the internal elements order (Air, Plant, Earth, Water, Cold, Fire). For example, the Fire Element would become the Cold Element.
All Mythicals play in the last verse of the Continent. This is the second time all Mythicals play in the end verse of an island's song, the first time being in Mythical Island.
None of the three Ultimate Creators had any involvement with the creation of any of the young Mythicals, the Ultimate Creator Experience ones or otherwise, with QuinnQwerty, Hyehehe's Ultimate Creator, instead saying it was "entirely them!".^[1]
Cataliszt and the Dreamythicals most likely won't be added to Dawn of Fire anytime soon, since the former only exists in the Dreamspace which was likely not accessible during the Dawn of Fire, thus making it almost impossible for the latter seven to appear in the game. For said hybrids, they likely would not be able to exist without their Mythical counterparts breeding with Cataliszt.^{[citation needed]}
