Official Wiki Policy This article shows information about the official policies of the My Singing Monsters Wiki. Please read this page, as it details how the wiki works, how you can contribute, or what kind of behavior is allowed on the wiki.

Fanon Pages are pages with fan-created original content. While fan content for My Singing Monsters is encouraged, it should not be added to the main wiki space on this wiki, in order to keep official and fan content separate that could otherwise confuse players of the game.
The main wiki space is mysingingmonsters.fandom.com/wiki/ArticleNameHere , including special pages such as wiki/Template:TemplateName and wiki/Category:CategoryName. If you do post fanon content to the main wiki space, it will likely be moved to a subpage of your profile, or removed entirely.
Instead of adding fanon content to the wiki, consider adding it to the My Singing Monsters Ideas wiki where fan content in its main wiki space is allowed.
That does not mean that fanon content is completely forbidden on this wiki. Here are some places on this wiki where you may post your fan content:
- The Discussions forum
- Your Profile page
- As a subpage of your Profile
- Your Blog (see 'Blog' tab on your Profile)
- Your Message Wall (see 'Message Wall' tab on your Profile)

Templates[]
Templates created for mainspace articles, such as {{Infobox Monster}} should not be used in blogs or user pages. These templates are only configured to work on main articles, so adding them to other pages can create issues when adding fan-made content or create broken links. However, templates have been created specifically for fanon pages; they can be found in Category:Fanon Templates
Fanlink[]
{{Fanlink}} is a template that mimics the look of a normal link while linking back to this page. This is done to avoid redlinks, while maintaining the look of an authentic page.
