My Singing Monsters Thumpies

My Singing Monsters Thumpies is a rhythm-based game. It is a remake of the original Thumpies game from 2010. Like the original game, My Singing Monsters Thumpies is set in the Thumpieverse, a universe distinct from the Monster World.

Similar to the 2010 version of Thumpies, the main gameplay for My Singing Monsters Thumpies is to tap on each drum at the right time as the Thumpies collide with them. Each of the Thumpies will bounce around each drum, either from outside the screen, or from drum to drum. Unlike most rhythm games, the game detects accuracy on timing, rather than a series of taps. More points are earned for accurate timing. Each level comes with a select number of stages, which are the separate parts of each song.

Differences Between the Original Game[]

7 new Thumpies: FwoOT, BuTter, ReeCesS, BrawnZ NoObiE, siLfuR FLipPy, GoWlden MoSH, and PLatyNuM iziT. (FwoOT, BuTter, and ReeCesS did make background appearances in the original game before becoming playable in this one, however.)
A practice mode.
Adds stars based off how accurately you played. Platinum Stars are collected when you get through a section perfectly without any mistakes.
Several Thumpie design differences:
- FurFacE is missing its collar.
- Gahwg now has fur.
- Anyanka doesn't have a pink butterfly on its hair.
  - Anyanka also has purple lips.
- ChesH's eyes are now green instead of purple.
- Gooie's pacifier is now blue.
- SkwEE now has a more pig-like snout.
- ChoMph now has a mouth behind the yellow construction claw.
  - ChoMph is also missing its bald spot.
- One of iziT's eyes is white with a purple pupil, instead of both being completely purple.

My Singing Monsters Rewards[]

Mobile Exclusive
The following is not available on the Steam version of the game. Please only edit this if you have access to the mobile version.

Throughout playing the game, two rewards can be unlocked.

An exclusive Costume for the Thumpies resembling FwoOT and BuTter is awarded after finishing the game's tutorial.

An exclusive special Decoration, the Great Tree Bawnzi, is awarded after playing through all of the game's levels.

Reward Notes[]

Redeeming
- The My Singing Monsters (game) needs to be installed on the device for the redeem to work correctly. Without the app present, MSM Thumpies will attempt to open a webpage; https://www.bigbluebubble.com/home/games/my-singing-monsters-series/my-singing-monsters/thumpies-reward/
- From the moment of attaining the potential reward, the player has 24 hours in order to redeem it.
- If My Singing Monsters is not installed when the reward is attained, players are still able to install the game before redeeming their reward.
Availability
- - The Costume *can*, however, also be obtained by chance from the Cold Island and Earth Island Colossal Conundra Costume rewards; rewards which are not available to those who already completed those Conundra.
- As the game is only available for Mobile players, players on the Steam version currently cannot complete their Costume collections on any island, nor access the Decoration.
- Some Mobile players may also find that their respective App Store reports the game as being incompatible with their devices, similarly making it impossible to complete these collections.
- The My Singing Monsters developers have stated that the Thumpies exclusive items may be obtainable in-game some time down the road.
The costume additionally creates a Mailbox item that grants a free pair of Common Thumpies. When collected, it will be attempted to be placed directly on the island without waiting for incubation, but it will fail if you do not have the Castle Bed space available. The Common Thumpies reward cannot be redeemed on Composer Island.
The Decoration also creates a Mailbox item, informing the player that the decoration can be found in the Market.

Some of the levels are likely plays on other words and phrases, such as:
- “ÆthuRi-AwL“ is likely a play on “ethereal”, which is also the name of a monster class.
- “dripPLe basS” is likely a play on “triple bass”.
- “ellidriGal” is likely a play on “electrical”.
- “doO-eNDay” is likely a play on “dawn and day”, or the spanish word "duende".
- “RddAhToOT” is likely a play on “rootitoot”, which also happens to be the name of a monster.
If you want to get PLatyNuM iziT, the best way is likely to use the practice button as a reset button, because you need to not make any mistakes to get a PLatyNuM star.
