My Singing Monsters Wiki
Etched upon the pillars of [the Conservatory] is a graphical history of parts of the Monster World, not unlike the stone scribes like Hahoo - the Earth Island Skin, but these are depicted in a heretofore unknown script. These are Monstroglyphics.

During the waning years of the Dawn of Fire, two Colossals were troubled, worrying that peace and stability in the Monster World couldn't last forever. While both believed that the best way to prepare for the future was to strengthen the musical abilities of the Singing Monsters, they disagreed on how best to go about it.

One Colossal contended that individual training, conducted in a special environment and focused on each Monster's unique craft, was the answer. It found a deserted landmass and imbued it with its lifeforce to create the Colossingum, where Monsters could empower themselves to become better performers in the Conservatory.

The other Colossal, inspired by the actions of their friend, chose another landmass to shift their power into, taking along a piece of the amber containing an important figure to act as the island's centerpiece. There, it created a prophecy that foretold of a time when Monsters singing together and being united in song would help restore balance in the Monster World.

This is a faithful recreation of a section of ancient temple wall from deep within the underground caves near the Fire Islands. Though at one time believed to depict the dormant form of an unknown Monster species, it has since been confirmed to be the ceremonial chest containing Vessels topped with special Amber seals. A true culmination of art and history. Hence: Art Historian - what what?
