My Singing Monsters Composer has a variety of Monsters that make a variety of sounds, which can be composed to create any song. There are three sound types in the game, that being Acapella (
), Percussion (
), and Pitched Instrumental (
). Unlike the main game, all of the Monsters are free and available at the start.
To see the different people who voice the Monsters in-game, visit Voice Actors.
Note: Use of terminology like "C4" will be used. Note that "C4" will be regarded as Middle C and that any numbers below or above it will be regarded as that many octave below or above Middle C.
Sound Types[]
Acapella
[]
Acapella Monsters use their mouths to make sounds, either by singing (vocal) or other sounds (beatboxing, whistling, etc.), This category also has the most Monsters than the other categories.
| Monster | Monster Type | Bio | Notes | Extendable? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
![]() Tweedle |
"The Tweedle's breath support is astounding, since it can sing and hover in place at the same time. Its flapping wings produce little noise, so that its high, clear vocals ring out for all to hear." |
![]() Potbelly |
"The Potbelly's two heads open up a ton of musical possibilities. Typically, the bigger head performs the main line, while the smaller head sings along and throws in extra notes." |
![]() Toe Jammer |
"The Toe Jammer's soft and round vocal sound matches its watery appearance well. Its whole body acts like a resonating chamber, and vibrates ever so slightly whenever it sings." |
![]() Mammott |
"The Mammott makes use of its gruff, rumbly bass voice when performing. Its versatile vocal chords allow it to create sustained notes, as well as shorter, emphatic bursts of notes." |
![]() Dandidoo |
"The Dandidoo earns its name from the florets on its head and tail, and the unmistakable 'doo' call it makes. A relative of the Tweedle, but each Monster has a unique sound and style." |
![]() Cybop |
"The Cybop's mechanical construction influences the sound that its metal-jawed mouth makes. Its head-mounted propeller also contributes, sort of like when you sing into a fan." |
![]() Shrubb |
"The Shrubb innovates exciting percussive sounds using nothing more than its wooden lips. This Monster is the resident beat-boxing expert, spitting out beats and spraying everyone with saliva." |
![]() Rare Shrubb |
"Taking beat-boxing to a whole new level, the Rare Shrubb has a looser, higher-pitched sound than its Common counterpart, but produces just as much saliva." |
![]() Oaktopus |
"The Oaktopus' raspy voice is not unlike the bark-like skin that covers most of its body. It has a rough, whispery quality, like wind passing through branches of an ancient tree." |
![]() Furcorn |
"For its size, the Furcorn's warbly falsetto definitely packs a punch. Not always sure of itself, its voice can waver at times, but always finishes strong. Furcorns are special. Protect them." |
![]() Fwog |
"The Fwog's throaty voice can create diverse calls, ranging from low croaks to high-pitched yelps. All of them share a distinct nasal quality, despite the Monster having no discernible nose." |
![]() Maw |
"The Maw appears to be nothing but a large mouth, so it's a mystery where it stores its lungs in order to be able to sing. Nonetheless, it squeaks out a high-pitched, self-harmonizing tone." |
![]() Spunge |
"For a Monster with such girth, the Spunge creates a surprisingly subtle trickle of whistling tones from its tiny mouth. We're told the reason is that the majority of its body is filled with water." |
![]() PomPom |
"The PomPom's vocal offerings are styled after cheerleaders, and delivered with comparable levels of enthusiasm and gusto. This Monster knows that boundless energy turns a good performance great." |

"Dipsters are so-named for their distinctive 'Dip-Dip' sound. These tiny Monsters are identifiable by the natural materials that cover their heads, which are unique for each pitch sung." |

"The hoarse, gravelly voice of the Grumpyre perfectly suits its bat-like appearance and the ever-shifting expressions of a Shadow Elemental." |

"Cutting a spectral figure, the Whisp's vocalizations match its appearance - ethereal, reverberatory wailing tinged with equal parts delight and wonder." |

"Notably, the Nebulob begins life with no musical ability. It learns and practices its sound as it matures, which sounds like hesitant singing from inside a tin can." |
![]() Jellbilly |
"Vocal twang is the Jellbilly's specialty, and this Monster uses it to great effect. Its sound is complemented by its 'stachacles' and head resembling a ten-gallon hat." |
![]() Kazilleon |
"Maybe it has to do with the foul-smelling breath it exhales, but the Kazilleon's low, raspy voice puts the 'fry' in vocal fry. Would a cough drop help?" |
![]() Punkleton |
"Punkleton's gutteral groans are perfectly-matched to its ghoulish appearance. Nothing says spooky like a well-timed 'ooga booga'." |

"Something of a sister to PomPom, Hoola has a reputation as a pesky prankster. The playful, squeaky quality of its voice lends itself perfectly sun-soaked, summer vibes." |
Percussion

Percussion Monsters use an instrument to make pitch-less sounds (drums, chatter, noises, etc.). All percussion Monsters do not have extendable notes.
| Monster | Monster Type | Bio | VST | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|

This is curious, since usually such an idiophonic vessel has a hole in it, unless..." | VST: Kontakt Sound library: Kontakt Factory Library 1/2 Path: World > 8 - Percussion (Factory 1)/Acoustic > 9 - Percussion (Factory 2) Preset: Tabla |

![]() Rare Pango |
"Using incredible percussive finesse, the Rare Pango transforms the sound of its chattering beak into something that can be compared to a shaker or rattle." | VST: Kontakt Sound library: Kontakt Factory Library 1/2 Path: World > 8 - Percussion (Factory 1)/Acoustic > 9 - Percussion (Factory 2) Preset: African Shakers |
![]() Drumpler |
"The Drumpler takes advantage of the elastic skin stretched over its belly - when puffed out, it can roll and tap drumsticks on its surface, and voila, a makeshift snare drum." | Live recording: Sam Clark (maybe) |
![]() Rare Drumpler |
"No two Drumpler bellies are the same, and the Rare Drumpler's belly even less so. The tone of its snare drum-like sound seems deeper, like it's slightly less elastic." | VST: HALion Sound library: HALion Sonic Factory Preset: Snare Shop |

"Even though its appearance may differ from the Congle's, the Rare also uses an eggshell to drum upon, but the looser tension on the drumhead helps to achieve a deeper sound." | VST: Kontakt Sound library: Kontakt Factory Library 1/2 Path: World > 8 - Percussion (Factory 1)/Acoustic > 9 - Percussion (Factory 2) Preset: Tonbak - Tar - Davul |
![]() Pummel |

![]() Rare Pummel |
"Maybe it's a result of all those extra limbs and fins, but whatever the reason, the Rare Pummel has evolved to create a striking taiko drum sound using its dual tongues." | VST: Kontakt Sound library: Kontakt Factory Library 1/2 Path: World > 8 - Percussion (Factory 1)/Acoustic > 9 - Percussion (Factory 2) Preset: Taikos |

"Perhaps as a result of the extra effort it puts into forging and fortifying its plates, the Rare Clamble's cymbals sound differently, more like a gong." | Sound 1: VST: Kontakt Sound library: Kontakt Factory Library 1/2 Path: World > 8 - Percussion (Factory 1)/Acoustic > 9 - Percussion (Factory 2) Preset: Gongs Sound 2: VST: HALion Sound library: HALion Symphonic Orchestra Preset: Tam Tam Combi Key |

"It's the Rare T-Rox's additional body crystals that are responsible for this Monster's more sustained and hiss-like electric drum kit sounds." | Loop Manufacturer: Cubase Loopset: Dubstep Loops: Dubstitution_Bass Drum 1, Dubstitution_Snare Drum 1 and Apes of Bass_Snare Drum (sampled as a single note for each loop) |

"The Deedge's special soundboard is a marvel of acoustic science, since the Monster is able to create different tones and effects just like a DJ, despite the fact that the object is made only of ice." | It is currently unknown whether or not it uses a VST. |

Since it never opens its mouth, it must use circular breathing in order to get enough air to play." | VST: Kontakt 6 Sound Library: Kontakt Factory Library 1 Path: Orchestral > 2 - VSL Woodwinds Preset: Piccolo ("staccato" and "sustain" articulations used for short and long notes respectively) |

![]() Arackulele |
