“ | Want to make some Diamonds? Of course you do! This handy little mine never gets depleted, and is environmentally-friendly so the natural beauty of the Monster World can be preserved. Mining is a long process though, so it will take a while. When in doubt, the Monsters always recall that good things come to those who wait. | ” |
The Mini-Mine is a Structure that provides 1 Diamond every twenty-four hours. Only one Mine (of any type) may be built on an Island, but each Island can have its own Mine.
The Mini-Mine was introduced in Version 1.1.3 and permanently replaced the original Mine on 1 March 2013. Despite being slower than the Maximum Mine, the Mini-Mine still makes a good start for Diamond Farming.

Notes[]
- The Mini-Mine used to start with 1 Diamond after purchase, but no longer does so.
- During the September 2021 Monster Handler Hangout, Monster Handler Matt announced that the Mini-Mine's price would change from 500,000 Coins to 10 Diamonds starting on October 13th with the exception of Plant Island and its mirror variant. On October 13th, this did in fact happen, updating at the same time Spooktacle arrived.
- The Mini-Mine's bio was different when it originally released, referencing the superseded Mine. It read: "The monsters are going green! To preserve the natural beauty of their world, the monsters have decided to replace the existing mine structure with a smaller one that is friendlier to the environment. Even though it produces diamonds a little less often than its predecessor, the monsters are proud of their decision and always recall that good things come to those who wait."
- The Mini-Mine's predecessor costed 20 diamonds and produced 2 diamonds/12 hours, similarly to the present Maximum Mine.
- In the update 1.3.0, around 7th October 2014, the original Mine, now called the Maximum Mine, made a comeback on Plant Island, but it is only upgradable or buyable in the Market if you buy at least one pack that costs real money.
- When all Mines have obtained some Diamonds, they used to present an actual unit of diamond in their cave. In a later update, the mines have their ready-to-collect "diamonds" onto their crate or cart.
- The Mini-Mine is not available on Seasonal Shanty and Mythical Island, likely because they are artificial constructs. Wublin Island, Celestial Island, and Amber Island also lack it, the former two likely because the Monsters obtained on them already produce Diamonds, and the latter one likely to preserve physical space on the island.
