Ethereal Workshop[]
Each player starts off with 10 'neutral' Meebs, which can then be attuned to one of five Ethereal elements using the Attunement Structure by selecting the Ethereal element's respective Mirror Natural Island. The amount of time it takes for a Meeb to attune changes through the five Mirror Natural Islands each day, with one Island being 5 hours, the previous and next Island being 10 hours, and the two remaining ones being 20 hours. Several Meebs can then be put into the Synthesizer to create a Triple-Element Ethereal, using a combination of Meebs attuned to the Ethereal elements that the respective Ethereal Monster has.
To make a Quad-Element, you must select a Triple-Element Ethereal to "build off of", adding the fourth missing element-attuned Meeb. A successful Synthesis will consume the required Meebs as well as that Triple-Element Ethereal. Note that the fourth missing element will need 1 extra element-attuned Meeb. The maximum number of Meebs available in the Workshop is dependent on the castle tier.

Ethereal Islets[]
In the Dish-Harmonizer, there are always an infinite amount of islet-themed Meebs (for example, there are infinite Plasma meebs on Plasma Islet). The player can obtain the rest of the Meebs by dish-harmonizing other monsters. The element that is not in the island's Quad has a special mechanic for obtaining: it can appear when you have duplicates of the other Meebs of all three types, which are not infinite (although it can also be obtained in the usual way, by dish-harmonizing a Monster with this element). After Harmonization Meebs will be randomly distributed into two new monsters.

Notes[]
- The name of the Meeb Critters is a play on the word "Amoeba," which are single-celled organisms.
- The silhouettes of the Meebs were teased inside of a, now unlisted, Monster Radio live stream.
- The Meebs are the first and only Critters to have an actual use in the mechanics of an Island.
- They are also the only critters capable of having elements, and the first and currently only creatures in the Monster World known to change elements.
- Because Meebkin uses the Meebs to make its sound, the Meebs are the second Critters in the Monster World known to make a sound. The first was Viveine's Wingaling sneezing.
- In version 4.4.0, a red Meeb was added to the Synthesizer menu to help guide the player through synthesis. This Meeb can also be seen on the Ethereal Workshop wordmark.
- Meebs can attune Naturally as well as Ethereally.[1]
- Additionally, as confirmed in the same Handler Hangout, one Meeb (probably the one in this short) has attuned to things in our world, like a lamp.
- Two stretched and translucent Crystal Meebs appear in the background of the Mech Islet teaser. They were removed for the actual trailer.
- Meebs are about 5-6 inches tall depending on the shape it takes.
