Baby Bio

Heart-meltingly adorable, the infant Mammott loves to be held and cuddled. Its rumbling giggles fill the air as it twiddles and tickles its own toes and feet.

Adult Bio

Lush and dense, the fully grown Mammott's fur is unrivaled as an insulator against both the inferno of a volcanic field and the numbing cold of empty space. This goliath can flourish virtually anywhere.

Prismatic Bio:

This Mammott returned from the Prism Gate forever changed! New traits, altered at the molecular level, include a fissured, rocky surface and a molten visage emanating strange light, replacing the luxurious fur and bright, shiny eyes that came before - extraordinary!

Description

The Mammott is a returning monster from the original game. The Mammott is a large, white monster, resembling a cartoonish yeti. They have yellow eyes, pink lips, fingers and feet, and are covered in white fur. As a baby, they have a single tooth, but their adult form has a full mouth of teeth.

It can be teleported to Party Island at Level 5. It can be teleported to Cave Island at Level 20.

Prismatic Descriptions

The Prismatic Mammotts have a rocky texture on their face, arms, and legs, while they have a gooey substance on their lower torso, hands, and feet. There are crumbling rocks in between. They also have a jagged mouth.

  • Purple Prismatic Mammott has one eye similar to an Illuminati eye, and 5 similar eyes floating around the top of the head.
  • Red Prismatic Mammott has similar features to the orange one, but it’s eye glows blue and it has 5 oval shaped rocks on its head with strange symbols that appear to spell out "music".
  • Orange Prismatic Mammott has only one eye, which glows green.
  • Yellow Prismatic Mammott looks similar to a normal mammott, but it has dark eyes with glowing red rings representing the outline of its pupils, and two horns shaped like a bull’s horns pointed upward.
  • Green Prismatic Mammott has 2 unevenly placed, purple glowing eyes oozing the gooey substance and a small batch of purple crystal on its head.
  • Blue Prismatic Mammott has one eye on a tentacle and 3 unevenly placed tentacles on its head.

Song

File:Baby Mammot.ogg

Voice actor: Matthew J. Stewart

The Mammott's contribution to an island's song is a deep, rumbly bass vocal line that goes "bum".

On Cave Island, the Mammot repeatedly sings "rum ba-dum ba-dum, rum ba-dum ba da daa" five times. The sixth time, it will sing "rum badum badum, badum badum badum".

On Party Island, the Mammot sings "bum ba ba bum, buh bah bum, buh bah bum".

On Continent, Mammot goes, “bom, bumbumdumbumbum, rumbumbumbummmm”

Breeding

As a single Element monster, Mammott cannot be bred other than a breeding failure, so the best way to obtain one is to buy them from the market.

Feeding Monsters

Mammott will request food and/or non-food items that are the products of Structures. If you cannot give the Monster the food or items it requires, you can click the New Order button. After a 15 minute wait, it will ask for a new combination of foods or other items.

Rewards

When given the wanted foods or items, like any Monster, it will reward you coins.

Teleportation

Mammott can be teleported to Cave Island at level 20 for a reward of 4 diamonds, or Party Island at level 5 for a reward of 2 Diamonds. Teleport time for Mammott is 7 hours to Cave Island or 5 Minutes to Party Island.

Prismatic

During limited time events when Prism Gate is open and Mammott is available for transformation on Outer Islands, an adult Mammott can be transformed into one of six different colored variants.

The name "Mammott"  may come from the already extinct Mammoth, because of the furry coats and affinity to cold that both the monster and the ancient creature have.

Notes

MammottPrismTease

Prismatic Mammott teaser

  • As an adult, the Mammott has much more realistic fur than in the original game.
  • The adult description of the Mammott possibly explains why the Mammott could thrive in Plant Island, Cold Island, Air Island and Earth Island of the original game.
  • There is a hidden bio or description within Dawn of Fire that gives a slightly more descriptive approach to its design. It can be sometimes be found in-game if you check the bio of something while the game is heavily lagging. (Read below.)
    • "A vaguely humanoid monster with no neck, the Mammott has two amber-colored eyes and a large mouth where you would expect them to be, but no visible nose. White fur covers most of its body, except 3 pink fingers and toes. The Mammott resembles a yeti, a relatively well-known cryptid, or its cousin, the bigfoot."
      • It is possible that the Mammott does have a nose, as in the original game, for the tradition of Spooktacle, it sometimes dresses up for the occasion with an x-ray outfit that does display a nose in the skeleton. This could just be a costume with not an actual Mammott skeleton though, meaning that the Mammott might not really have a nose.
  • Prismatic Mammott was released on February 28th, 2020. It is also the first monster with Prismatic variants that do not match the normal monster's main color. In fact, according to the Prismatics color wheel, the "normal color" is considered yellow, despite the fact that obviously white is not yellow.
  • The adult description states, "The fully grown Mammott's fur is unrivaled as an insulator against both the inferno of a volcanic field and the numbing cold of empty space" even though Mammott is not on Space Island.
  • On the Red Prismatic Mammott's rocks at the top it reads "music" in Monstrous.
