Maggpi's default incubation duration in the game is 8 hours. Utilizing enhanced incubation reduces this to 6 hours. Applying a skin boost can further decrease the default time to 7 hours, 12 minutes, and the enhanced time to 5 hours, 12 minutes.

Maggpi is a high coin producer on its islands, yet it falls short of Rare Wubbox's output. However, Maggpi takes up less space. Maggpi is a Werdo available on Cold and Water Islands. It was added on February 7th, 2018 during Version 2.1.5. Maggpi is obtained by purchasing in the Market for 100 . By default, its incubation time is 8 hours long. The Goals for placing your first Maggpi on each Island it is on reward the player with 100,000 and 3 each.

The Werdos are one of the best Coin producers on all Islands they inhabit, only being surpassed by Rare Wubbox. Though the Werdos have the advantage of taking up significantly less space.

Maggpi sings most of the same lyrics as Tawkerr, but it adds a rapping intro to the part where Tweedle and Wubbox play. It also extends the song by a whole verse, repeating the lyrics sung on Furcorn's part. Here are the lyrics:

Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. Since Maggpi cannot be bred, the only way of obtaining its permanent costumes is by buying them. Since it cannot be teleported to The Colossingum, its costumes are purely cosmetic.

Earning rate is in Coins per minute and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's Level also increases this limit.

Feeding Monsters[]

Each Monster needs to be fed four times before it reaches the next level. Increasing the Monster's level increases the Coins earned per minute, as well as the maximum Coins earned.

Maggpi's name is based on that of the magpie, a bird, and former Monster-Handler Maggie Park.
- It is the only Werdo named after its voice actor's first name, rather than their last name.
- Maggpi, Mammott, Drummidary, and Wheezel are the only Monsters that are named after animals they are not designed to resemble, with the latter three respectively being a mammoth, a dromedary camel, and a weasel.
- Its feet, resembling to talons, also known as bird's feet, can also be a reason why it is based on a magpie.
Maggpi was first hinted at in the Season of Love 2018 Loading Screen, showing its feet. It did not make an appearance on social media banners alike to previous teasers.
Maggpi is the first Werdo whose Book of Monsters sound is not just the island's name. Parlsona says "Plants", and Tawkerr currently says "Cold", however Maggpi says "Is it cold outside?"
Despite Maggpi's bio stating that its range encompasses that of both a soprano and a contralto, it never actually sings in the soprano range.
- On Water Island, it sings lower than most contraltos are able to sing.
Maggpi is the only Monster species to debut in the series in 2018.
- If Bisonorus had debuted in My Singing Monsters: Dawn of Fire in the 1.16.0 update (as "Doose") as it was originally meant to, it would have been another example.
- Maggpi was one of two Monsters to debut during the sixth year of My Singing Monsters. The other was Drummidary.
Before the release of Version 4.4, with the remodifications of the Mirror Islands, Maggpi was the only Werdo to not play with Rare Wubbox; It plays with it on Mirror Water Island since the update was released.
Despite releasing before Stoowarb, Maggpi appears after it in the avatar selector.
