“ | The following is an excerpt retrieved from the Monster development journals of an unidentified Colossal, chronicling some of their earliest recorded efforts in the pocket dimension:
"Progress halted on the skittish specimen codenamed 'Lowb.' Subject initially showed encouraging signs of maturation and musical resonance, but the duration of these fails to meet performance targets. Internal structure of the subject's thoracic cavity was designed to house a flowering bud, but external stimuli cause an unanticipated hardening of the outer shell. As such, this model has been shelved. Disappointing news, as the hope was for this creation to be designated as the Core Elemental of Plant. Nevertheless, the work continues: a promising new design has been stabilized with the assistance of pottery and will be explored further." Seemingly added much later, another Colossal's notes have been scribbled in the margin: "Cancellation of the Lowb prototype was premature. Using the Dish-Harmonizer, I was able to harness the subject's shell hardening ability to fashion a dendritic structure composed of elder specimens on which the juvenile specimen can bounce. A constant cycle of renewal is now underway, in which old becomes reabsorbed and born anew. I knew this idea had potential, it just needed a few tweaks: now the Plant Primordial has a new lease on life." |

Description[]
Lowb is a Primordial Monster of the Plant Element () and is exclusive to Plasma Islet. It was added alongside Rare Sporerow and Epic Fung Pray on February 19th, 2025 during version 4.7.0. As a Primordial Monster, it is obtained by Dish-Harmonizing after obtaining all other Monsters on Plasma Islet. Its incubation time is 2 days and 2 hours long. Being an elusive Primordial Monster, Lowb has an excellent shard production on Plasma Islet. However, only one can be placed. The Goal for placing your first Lowb rewards the player with 10
.
Being a Primordial Monster, Lowb functions like a Unity Tree, with its presence allowing for Common Monsters to be placed anywhere on the Island without affecting the Happiness of other Common Monsters.
Song[]
Audio
Instrument: Avocado, wooden block, violin stick, guitar string, sheet metal, metal brackets, paper sheet, and saxophone
Performers: Celestyn, Dylan Cole, and Tom Meikle
The juvenile Lowb can collide its shell with its body to produce hi-hat sounds mixed with synths, and can shake its body to make bubbly sounds akin to a tambourine. It can also bounce on the elder specimens in the structure, producing sounds of drums, and light up its interior below the shell, causing the elders to glow and make a vibrant synth sound.
Its array of sounds are sampled from various sources, including an avocado being thrown at the floor, a wood block being hit with a mallet, a violin bow being swung in the air, the whooshing sound of a detached guitar string being spun around, a metal sheet, the sliding of two metal brackets, tearing paper, and a saxophone, all processed in a way where all of the source sounds are barely recognizable.[1]
Obtaining[]
Lowb becomes available once all of the Ethereal Monsters on Plasma Islet have been collected, and by having at least 3 of each elemental Meeb. When a Monster is Dish-Harmonized and results in a Whaill, there is a chance for this Whaill to be "upgraded" into a Lowb.
Likes[]
Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree or a Primordial Monster on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Lowb:
See the Likes page to view a complete list of all Monsters' likes.
Note: Since Lowb acts as a Unity Tree, Monsters never need to be placed near it to increase its happiness.
Monsters Who Like It[]
The following Monster(s) will increase their happiness by 25% when being placed near Lowb or when Lowb and a Unity Tree are on the Island. These may or may not also be Lowb's likes as well:
Statistics[]
Earning Rate and Maximum Income[]
Earning rate is in Coins per minute and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's Level also increases this limit.
Feeding Monsters[]
Each Monster needs to be fed four times before it reaches the next level. Increasing the Monster's level increases the Coins earned per minute, as well as the maximum Coins earned.

Notes[]
- Lowb's name is a nod to "lobe" (a roundish section or region of a certain organ, such as the heart, lungs, brain and/or kidney) and "low-β plasma", and is an anagram of "bowl" in ode to its first depiction as a statue in-game: the Bowl of Diamonds currency pack.
- Lowb is currently the only Monster whose bio involves first person writing, being notes written by two Colossals, the second likely being Zarroë. The Colossal that wrote the first note could be Grennitch.
- Lowb currently has the longest description out of any Monster in the game, at 212 words.
- Lowb is currently the only Monster in the game to not be on any Island with Decorations. This used to be true for Kayna and the Wublins.
- In Dawn of Fire, Lowb can be seen in the "Bowl of Diamonds" Market item, as a Bubblerite statue filled with Diamonds, while in My Singing Monsters, the Life-Formula Island Skin features it as an Obstacle with green crystals instead.
- Lowb's Life-Formula obstacle statue has a visible tail despite its live Monster form lacking one, likely due to its Colossal leaving its early draft behind as it was still in development.
- Lowb shares quite a few similarities with Periscorp:
- Both are insect-like in appearance.
- Both produce an electronic drum sound.
- Both use pink in their color schemes.
- The tree that Lowb stands on is made up of 7 other Lowbs, with four of them being elder Lowbs and three of them still being eggs. According to its bio, the elder Lowbs eventually turn back into eggs and start their life cycle over again.
- All of Lowb’s likes are Monsters donning the
Element, the only Element that the Island's Quad-Element Monster Whaill doesn't have. This trend may continue with future Primordials.
