Dawn of Fire

Shadow made manifest, the daunting and unfathomable Loodvigg performs its Magnum Opus, celebrating the delicate interplay between shadow and light. With elegantly webbed fingers poised high above its fine clavier, each mighty strike of the keys sends ripples across the Monster World. Its hypnotic influence is felt by all Shadow-born, who find themselves longing for a place they have never known - yet, somehow - have known all along.
Monster Bio

Description[]

Loodvigg is a Celestial Monster exclusive to Starhenge. As a Celestial Monster, it is only available at a specific month. It is obtained by completing the Daily Login Game or bought from the Market for 1,250 Diamonds (Dawn of Fire) on September.

Song[]

Instrument: Concert grand piano

This monster plays the concert grand piano (which would have a more pronounced sound than Quibble, which sounds more of an upright grand piano) in a minor key. It uses a combination of deep dark-sounding low notes with some higher notes that sound ominous.

VSTs[]

Virtual Studio Technology is an audio plugin software that has libraries of sound effects and synthesized instruments. Within these libraries are SoundFonts, which are the individual effects and instruments themselves. The Monster-Handlers utilize several VSTs to create the sounds of instrumental and sometimes vocal Monsters.

VST: HALion 6
Sound library: HALion Sonic Factory

Low Notes

SoundFont: Warm Grand

High Notes

SoundFont: 4.0. Bright Concert Grand

Breeding[]

Loodvigg cannot be bred; instead, like all Celestials, it can only be hatched from an egg after its egg reaches the portal in the Daily Login Game. 24 spaces have to be done before Loodvigg can reach its portal. A 30-day time limit appears for all Loodviggs to reach the portal.

Loodvigg is available in the Daily Login Game during every September.

Teleporting[]

Like all Celestials, Loodvigg automatically gets teleported to Starhenge if their species' egg reaches the portal within the time limits.

Notes[]

  • Loodvigg's constellation is called "Shadowed Glare".
  • Loodvigg's name comes from German composer Ludwig van Beethoven. (Americanized as "lood-vig ..."). Beethoven composed many pieces, including piano sonatas and piano concertos, hence Loodvigg's piano playing.
  • Loodvigg and Scaratar, the first two Celestials, both seem to have similar features: They both have tall, curly hair, a skull-like face, four arms and four legs, both of their elements are Ethereal elements, an overall insectoid nature, and both play instruments.
  • It is said about monsters born in the shadows seeking a home in Loodvigg's description, probably referring to the Ethereals of the original game, which are currently never seen in Dawn of Fire.
  • If you are born under the Shadow Celestial Loodvigg, your astrological sign is either a Virgo♍︎ (September 1st - 22nd) or a Libra♎︎ (September 23rd - 30th).
