This is the main article for Legendary Monsters. For the category, see Category:Legendary Monsters.

Legendary Monsters are a unique Class of Monsters and Element consisting of the Shugafam which were first introduced on July 29th, 2013 and the Werdos, which were introduced in 2017. These Monsters are defined by their connection to the Human World, with Shugabush Island being on The Seam between the Monster World and the Human World.

Breeding

The Shugabush can be bred on Plant Island with Bowgart and Clamble. The rest of the Shugafam is exclusive to Shugabush Island, and is bred with Shugabush and a select Natural Monster, which are all teleported at Monster level 15.

Werdos cannot be bred, and instead are bought from the Market for 100 Relics.

The Shugabush is the Legendary Monster that can be placed on Gold Island at level 15.

Notes

  • All members of the Shugafam were inspired by singer Kristian Bush, and his country music duo, Sugarland, hence the "Shuga-" part of their names.
  • There were unused Monsters called Lyriks, as seen in concept art from Big Blue Bubble, but they were ultimately scrapped and replaced with the Werdos, However one of them were repurposed as inspiration for Withur.
  • Given that the Shugafam and Werdos both have a connection to the human world, it is possible that the legendary element represents connection to the human world.
  • The Legendary Class has a case similar to the Supernatural Class. This is the fact that there are two different species of Monster for both Classes. Wubbox and Wublins for Supernatural, and Shugafam and Werdo for Legendary.
    • The Legendary Class is also similar to the Mythical Class, as they have the same name for both their Class and Element.
  • Legendary, the seasonal elements, and Dipster were the only canon elements in My Singing Monsters that do not have their own Celestials, until Mythicals were added to the mobile versions of the game and the Psychic, Faerie, and Bone Elements were introduced.
    • That is, unless you count the possible normal and spectral elements.
  • The Version 2.0.0 Update came with a graphical facelift and changed the element icons. The appearance of the Legendary element icon changed from Legendary Element (old).png to Legendary Element.png.
  • The star in the Legendary element comes from an unused element that seemingly would've been used for all seasonals called "Generic Holiday". The only difference between this Generic Holiday element and the Legendary element is that the streaks of light aren't in Generic Holiday.
