Exclusive to My Singing Monsters: Dawn of Fire
The following article includes content exclusive to the game My Singing Monsters: Dawn of Fire.

Baby Bio:

Wings and fins and feathers and one giant tooth: that's a lot of bells and whistles packed into such a little tyke! Okay, while it sports no bells per se, the larval Krillby is basically a whistle. By taking air in and forcing it through channeled ducts in its interior thorax, it produces a sound that is pure and sweet and, yes - clear as a bell.

Adult Bio:

Wings, feathers, and prehensile forelimbs? Yes, the Krillby's morphology is a bewildering hodgepodge, but its song is as sweet and simple as can be. Fleet of foot yet largely flightless, this Monster sports wings for temperature control and dramatic effect, though not necessarily in that order. Because, at first glance, this species looks like it could be tasty. most Krillbies develop their culinary skills and cook hearty meals for the others, to offset any untoward appetites.

Prismatic Bio:

This Krillby returned from the Prism Gate forever changed! Even though the Quad in question already had a diverse assortment of wings and fins and feathers, it has been altered at the molecular level to become a new colorful, chimeral version of itself - extraordinary!

Description

Krillby is the fifth quad-element monster in Dawn of Fire. It can be teleported to the Cloud Island at level 15 or Cave Island at level 20.

As an infant, it has a yellowish-green coloration on its body and feet, while its limbs and head are mustard colored. The head also has a fin on top of its head, one giant tooth and a pair of white, feathery antennae. Its body sports a hermit crab-esque shell with holes, yellow ring on its shell and three feathers at the end of its shell. Its feet have three toes with a round spur on each foot. The Krillby has a pair of wings that are placed behind the legs.

As an adult, its tail feathers have grown with a greyish-blue end on the feathers. The shell appears more lobster-like with the dulled ring. Its wings have grown and the lower legs are covered with leaf-like feathers, as well as their feet have sharp nails and a sharp spur, which resembles that of a rooster. Its head has two pair of antennae, one large and one small, a fish-tail shaped fin and a mustache, which resembles a catfish.

Prismatic Descriptions

The Prismatic Krillbys have mustaches that are styled differently depending on their color, and they now have multiple rings instead of just one, which are noticeably much sharper than their normal counterpart. They also have hoofed feet, like an even-toed ungulate, and their wings are fuzzy. It has a small, cat-like nose.

  • Purple Prismatic Krillby has two sets of eyes. It seems to have heterochromia, as one pair of eyes is colored orange, while the other is colored purple. It has wings for a tail and antennae, and its mustache is a bit messy.
  • Blue Prismatic Krillby has large, almost cartoonish eyes. It has a short feather plume for a fin, and its antennae are more bug-like. It has a asterix mustache.
  • Green Prismatic Krillby has horns for both antennae and a fin, and a rather stylish tail. It has a imperial mustache.
  • Yellow Prismatic Krillby has a sail for a fin, and cerata on its tail. It has a pyramidal mustache.
  • Orange Prismatic Krillby has a crest formed by long orange and green cerata. Along with it’s tail. Meanwhile it seems to have two pairs of green tinted Fu Manchu mustaches.
  • Red Prismatic Krillby has a light yellow horn. Among with a short dark red and spiked plumage on it’s tail. It seems to have an orange and very bushy handlebar mustache.

  • One of Krillby's auto generated nicknames is Link which references the main character of "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time", since this monster plays the ocarina.
  • All monsters required for its breeding except for Woolabee have a prismatic variant.
  • The wings on its legs resembles a Sharovipteryx since it means "foot wing" because of it has a gliding membrane surrounding its legs.
  • It's also looks similar to Zeus's son, Hermes since it has wings, a shell and feathers like many of Hermes' symbols like a rooster, tortoise, winged sandals and cap.
  • The Reedling has a similar bio in that it breathes through the body.
  • It was first teased in a Facebook post.
    • It was later teased again in yet another Facebook post along with Clamble.
  • Krillby is the only monster on the continent that doesn't create particles while sleeping.
    • This is a nice little reference to how it breathes through its body instead of its nose or mouth.
      • However, this could ALSO possibly be a glitch.
  • In the code, Krillby is called "Shrimp".
  • it is speculated that Krillby is disproportionally well-detailed for its size in comparison with other baby monsters.
  • The Krillby is the second quad-element monster to only take up a 2x2 space when an adult. The first was the Yelmut.
  • When Krillby moves during its idle animation, the fur between its eyes moves slightly. This may be its nose.
  • In Krillby’s teaser, Clamble's claw can be seen reaching towards Krillby’s egg, and it disappears when the egg starts to shake.
  • Its egg strongly resembles a beehive.
