“ | It is unclear whether Krillby's vestigial wings are powerful enough for sustained flight, but this Fire Monster is more at home on the ground than in the air. Its talons make it easy to maneuver across many different terrains, while its wings guide the air in and around the ocarina-like bodies to help produce the lovely whistles for which they are known. This also regulates the Krillby's body temperature when running very fast, something you have to do often when you look as tasty as Krillby does. | ” |

Similar to its Dawn of Fire counterpart, Krillby whistles to make a sound similar to a soprano recorder.

Likes
Every monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the monster, the monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a monster will still only increase its happiness by 25%. If there's a Unity Tree on the island, items don't need to be near the monsters. Below are the things liked by Krillby:

Powering Up
On Amber Island, Krillby must be powered up rather than being bred. Unlike Wublins and Celestials, the allotted time to fill a Vessel does not start when the first egg is zapped, but are instead are only available to purchase and fill at select times. The inventory must be completed in this time. When a purchased vessel is incomplete after the time, it will disappear and half of the relics spent will be given back. You will also get the option to revive Krillby by purchasing the missing eggs with Diamonds.

Statistics
Earning Rate and Maximum Income
Earning rate is in Relics per month (28 days) and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's Level also increases this limit.
Though the Relic Rate and Maximum is displayed in-game as a whole number value, internally these are decimal values. Where such values have been empirically found, they are provided in the table. When collecting from Krillby, you will only receive the whole number value generated.
Feeding Monsters
Each monster needs to be fed four times before it reaches the next level. Increasing the monster's level increases the coins earned per minute, as well as the maximum coins earned.

Notes
- Krillby's name is a combination of "krill", a small crustacean that the Monster resembles, and a "bilby", which is a type of Australian marsupial that this Monster is loosely based on.
- Krillby and Thrumble became the first Monsters on Amber Island to have more than 25% happiness, with Krillby being released with 3 likes and Thrumble being released with 2 likes.
- When Faerie Island was first planned, Krillby was meant to be the quad on the island, making Faerie Island a fire island instead of the magical island we know and love today along with Pladdie (along with the Faerie elementals taking the Air elementals' place).
