My Singing Monsters Wiki
Dawn of Fire

The Hoola is a member of the Pomily: a classification of Monster species that shares a number of delightful traits, such as a concentration of furthery plumage resembling lovely leg warmers. However, Hoola’s birth was quite unlike that of its beloved siblings. One sunny afternoon, as an innocent Egg lay incubating in the Nursery, the Pomily members PomPom and Sooza competed in a friendly game of ring toss. As the competition became heated, a rogue ring whipped through the air and lodged itself firmly around the unsuspecting Egg! This Egg, previously destined to become one of its sister species, instead hatched into the very first Hoola: a playful Seasonal with a mischievous streak that started the day it hatched with its hoop in hand.

Description[]

Hoola is a Seasonal Monster in My Singing Monsters: Dawn of Fire. It was added in Version 3.0.7 alongside Gnarls. It is best obtained by breeding Woolabee and Pango. Its breeding and incubation time is 1 day and 1 hour long. Unlike the Natural Monsters on the Continent, Hoola cannot be teleported to an Outer Island.

Song[]

Audio Sample:

Voice actor: Maggie Park

Hoola tries to harmonize with PomPom in its first verse, though is interrupted by Cybop and Strombonin, singing "Hey... oh. Hey... Uh oh!"

In the next verse, it sings "Round, round, round we go! Hey everybody, hey, let's go! Round, round, round we go! Hey everybody, hey, solo!"

Breeding[]

Hoola can only be bred for a limited time during the SummerSong Junior event. Unlike the original game, where Hoola is bred with the PomPom and Pango, Hoola is bred Woolabee and Pango. When bred successfully, the Breeding Structure timer should display a waiting time of 1 day and 1 hour.

Feeding Monsters[]

Exclusively on Continent, Hoola will request for Crafting Items that are the products of Structures. If you cannot give the Monster the Crafting Items it requires, you can click the New Order button. After a 15 minute wait, it will ask for a new combination of Crafting Items.

Rewards[]

When given the wanted Crafting Item, like any Monster, it will reward you Coins (DoF) Coins, XP (DoF) Experience and will progress the Monster to the next Level. You can also give a Monster any other Crafting Item, but you won’t receive Coins or Experience for doing so.

Teleporting[]

Hoola currently cannot be teleported to any Outer Islands.

Notes[]

  • Hoola is the last Core Seasonal Monster to be added to Dawn of Fire.
  • Hoola is the only Seasonal Monster in Dawn of Fire to have multiple tracks. Hoola plays at PomPom and Cybop's verse and Flowah, Barrb, Thrumble and Repatillo's verse.
  • Unlike in the original game, Hoola spoke normal English for the first time on the Continent, marking this the second time a Seasonal monster spoke English in the entirety of My Singing Monsters, and the first Core Seasonal to speak English for the first time.
  • Young Hoola's description seemingly contradicts Hyehehe's description in the original game, as while the original game claims that Hoola learned how to prank from Hyehehe, Dawn of Fire claims Hoola has been a troublemaker since it was born.
    • However, this could be explained by the latter simply taking the former under its wing after noting its mischievous attitude.
      • This is further mentioned in Hyehehe's description in this game by being described as its "mischief mentor."
  • Like Young Blabbit, Young Hoola's Breeding combination of Woolabee and Pango is possible in the original game on Fire Oasis. However, this combination can only make Hoola in Dawn of Fire.
