My Singing Monsters Wiki

The Hairionette's existence is defined by cruel irony: despite its status as the Control Elemental, this Paironormal is convinced that its destiny is not its own to choose. Hairionette firmly believes that its every move is predetermined, pulled along its life path by the skeins of fate. It is driven by its overwhelming need to find just who is pulling the strings, never pausing to wonder whether it is in fact the mastermind behind its own designs. So just who is the true puppetmaster: a mysterious manipulator, or the hapless Hairionette itself? This Paironormal's Major and Minor forms reflect both existential options.
Monster Bio

Description[]

Hairionette is the Paironormal Monster of the Control Element, where its Major form is found on Psychic Island and its Minor form is found on Mirror Psychic Island. It was added alongside Rare Drummidary, Epic Strombonin, Rare Bulbo, and Rare Cranchee on December 11th, 2024, during version 4.6.0. As a Paironormal Monster, its forms are available during different times of the day. When available, it is best obtained by breeding Gloptic and any Triple-Element Monsters. By default, its breeding time is 1 day and 8 hours. Hairionette has a high coin production, with an especially high income rate per Bed compared to other Monsters. The Goal for placing your first Hairionette rewards the player with 10 Diamonds (Diamonds).

Song[]

Audio Sample:

Voice Actor: Unknown

Hairionette sings an "ah" vocal with heavy effects, sounding similar to that of a theremin.

On Psychic Island, it plays alongside Rootitoot and Rooba. On Mirror Psychic Island, it has two tracks, and plays in the Toe Jammer verses and the Bisonorus verse at the end.

Breeding[]

Hairionette's forms are available during different times of the day, with its Major form being available from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM (local time), while its Minor form is available from 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM (local time).

When available, Hairionette can be bred using Gloptic and any Triple-Elemental Monster on Psychic Island.

Note that these breeding possibilities are not guaranteed to produce a Hairionette.

Note: Its breeding time is the same as Gloptic.

Out of all these Gloptic and Rooba is the best choice, due to Rooba having a shorter failure time compared to Rootitoot, as well as its egg being disposable to Flowah's Vessel, which is the cheapest Vessel, compared to the other Triple-Element Magical combinations.

Likes[]

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree or a Primordial Monster on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Hairionette:

Notes[]

  • Hairionette was the first Paironormal Monster to be added to the game.
  • The name "Hairionette" is a portmanteau of the words "Hair" and "Marionette".
  • Its Minor form is the first Monster to be exclusive to a Mirror Island.
    • Additionally, it is the first Monster to have entirely unique tracks on a Mirror island,
  • Hairionette is the first Monster species to make its series debut on Mirror Psychic Island, as every other Psychic Island Monster species had been released before Mirror Psychic Island came out.
  • Hairionette, Owlesque and BeMeebEth are the only monsters that do not consume Treats in multiples of 5 when fed. At Level 1, it consumes 22 Treats per Feeding, and this is multiplied accordingly as it levels up.
  • Hairionette is the first Monster to not always be available to Buy or Breed, despite it not technically being time-limited. This is because its Minor form (only available on Mirror Psychic Island) and its Major form (only available on normal Psychic Island) alternate availability every 14 hours, having two hours for dawn and dusk where both forms are available simultaneously.
  • Hairionette's forms represent two different ideals regarding the nature of control as well as showcasing different aspects of its name.
    • Its Major form represents it being in control, more specifically of its own decisions, while its Minor form represents being controlled, or predestiny and having no control of those aftermentioned decisions, similar to how a puppet on a string is controlled by its puppeteer.
    • Its Major form prioritizes the "hair" in its name, as shown by its grandmotherly hairstyle, while its Minor form prioritizes the "marionette" part of the name, with it being puppet-like without any free will of its own actions.
  • When Version 4.6.0 first released, the Minor Hairionette had a visual bug that caused long purple lumps to appear at the back of its head that appear to be the same sprites as the Major form's arms. This was quickly fixed.
    • It may have also possibly been an early design that made it into the game, similar to G'day and Hawlo when they first released.
  • Hairionette is the only Paironormal Monster to be released in 2024.
  • The "X" shape formed by Major Hairionette's limbs resembles the handle of a marionette.
