Gameplay[]

Greatfruit Grove was a simulation game released by Big Blue Bubble Inc., which had gameplay revolving around trees known as Greatfruit Trees. You could obtain new trees either by purchasing them from the Market, or by gene splicing two different seedlings together in the Monkey Lab. Once a seedling is done splicing in the Monkey Lab, it could be sent to be germinated in the Nursery. Once you finished germinating a seedling, it could be placed down. You could 'level up' a seedling by the use of fertilizer, a resource made from the Bovine Pegacorn. Fertilizer would both make the tree appear bigger, "aging", as well as make it produce more fruit.

Notes[]

  • The beta name for Greatfruit Grove was "SEED."
  • The location Greatfruit Grove is an important location within the overarching lore.
    • It is a dimension on the Stablo Mjehurića where various types of trees grow. In addition to these trees, it is also home to little monkeys that make their home in the Monkey Mansion, which is a tree connected to the Stablo Mjehurića in the same way the the Tall Tree and Great Tree are.[1] Dulcettéa, the Fire Colossal, made an effort to conserve the unique flora of this dimension with Project SEED.
      • Given that Amber Island is designed to preserve the essence of destroyed monsters, and the game is discontinued, it is possible that the dimension this game was set in was destroyed, or otherwise no longer exists.
