Description[]
Gloptic is a Quad-Element Magical Monster that is found on Psychic Island and Magical Nexus. It was added on September 25th, 2019 during the 2.3.2 7th Anniversary Update. It is best obtained by breeding Rooba and Toe Jammer. By default, its breeding time is 1 day and 8 hours long. Gloptic has a high Coin production on Psychic Island, comparable to Edamimi and Bisonorus. The Goal for placing your first Gloptic rewards the player with 100,000

On Magical Nexus, Gloptic is obtained by Transposing by spending 8,000,000 once fed to level 18. Its Transposing time is 2 days, 2 hours long. Unlike Psychic Island, Gloptic does not produce currency on Magical Nexus.

Gloptic plays a sound similar to that of a processed dulcimer, something similar to Woolabee, or a kantele. A synth pad can also be heard in its sound.

- Of these, Rooba+Toe Jammer is the best combination, as failing and breeding a Toe Jammer lets you retry the combo almost instantly.

Breeding a Gloptic with an Oaktopus has an increased chance of getting a Gloptic, due to this also being the breeding combination for Epic Kayna. In order to make it harder to get Epic Kayna, the breeding combination has a higher chance to give Gloptics as breeding failures. This still happens if Epic Kayna is available or not.

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Feeding Monsters[]
Each Monster needs to be fed four times before it reaches the next level. Increasing the Monster's level increases the Coins earned per minute, as well as the maximum Coins earned.

Egg Consumption[]
- Main article: Zapping
While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Celestials and Vessels can be used to "dispose of" Gloptic eggs immediately, instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available. Note that doing this for Rare Wublins will cause the Wublin to stop producing currency and the eggs will not expire.

Note that Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" before awakening Celestials and Vessels; afterwards those Monsters will not accept any eggs. Also note that Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Gloptic eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs. Awakened Celestials only accept eggs during their corresponding Celestial month.

- Gloptic's name is a portmanteau of the words "glop," or "glob," referring to the slime it produces, and "optic," referring to its singular eye and ability to hypnotize other monsters. It could also have something to do with the words "cycloptic", referring to its singular eye, or, "hypnotic", referring to how it has the ability to hypnotize other monsters.
- The way Gloptic hypnotizes Monsters is very similar to how the character Kaa from the Jungle Book hypnotizes people by having the victim look into their colorful ring eyes.
- Cataliszt's design is based on concept art for Gloptic.
- According to Monster-Handler Matt, a Gloptical Illoozion feels like when all of your senses are swapped. It is comparable to synesthesia.
- Also according to Matt, a chronic brain-itch is when the part of the brain with the ridges develops so many new synaptic connections that it makes your brain itchy.
- As shown in the trailer for Magical Sanctum and Magical Nexus, Gloptic can make objects levitate with its eye.
