Notes[]
- On August 31st, 2018, the Givutawai Tree was available as a free giveaway in the mailbox. That's presumably why its name is, approximately, "give it away."
- As a mailbox giveaway, it could be placed on some Islands without the StarShop, such as Gold Island, Ethereal Island, or Shugabush Island (At the time, Ethereal Island and Shugabush Island had no StarShop).
- Strangely, the Givutawai Tree couldn't be placed on Wublin Island or Celestial Island when receiving it through the mailbox.
- There was originally a grammar mistake in its bio; it said "more offbeat that..." rather than "more offbeat than...". This was later fixed.
- The first line of the bio is from the song Give It Away by Red Hot Chili Peppers.
- The bio also includes a reference to scam emails, which were very prominent during the 90's, while the song above was made during 1991.
- The animation of the presents opening is only available once the decoration is placed down. In the market, they simply shake.
- The "gifts" inside the presents include an eyeball in the top present, a puddle of acid in the middle left present, and what appears to be either a spider's red eyes or a cranberry. It is unknown what is in the top left present, top right present, bottom right present, and the present on the ground.
- Givutawai Tree used to take up a 3x3 grid space, but was changed to 2x2 in version 4.6.0.
