“ | This Flum Ox returned from the Prism Gate forever changed! You've got to hand it to this Monster... it's certainly taken a hands-on approach to its molecular modification, which is handy considering how its many hand gestures have worked themselves handily into its anatomy. Some say that it's gotten out of hand, but we have another way to describe it - extraordinary! | ” |

Notes[]
- Flum Ox's name may be a pun derived from the word flummox, which means to perplex (someone). It also comes from an animal called an "ox" that is similar to a cow.
- Flum Ox was the first Quad-Element Monster to exist in Dawn of Fire. It was also the only Quad-Element Monster to be released with the game.
- As seen in one of the promotions in the game, the adult Flum Ox can use its horns like arms.
- Flum Ox's original name was "Oxmonk."[1]
- Flum Ox's four elements are the same as those in the ancient "four element theory" of matter, which claimed that all matter is made from earth, air, fire, and water in various combinations and proportions (See also: Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend Of Korra, its sequel).
- This may be why it was the first quad to be in Dawn of Fire.
- Flum Ox has the second longest distance between its release in Dawn of Fire and its Prismatic release, at 2,840 days. The first being Pummel, at 2,910 days.
- On The Continent, Flum Ox is one of the few Monsters to exclusively play on the first Furcorn verse and nowhere else. The others being Rootitoot and Entbrat.
- When Prismatic Flum Ox first released, Blue Prismatic Flum Ox's eyebrows were missing and Orange Prismatic Flum Ox's eyelids were orange instead of green. This was fixed a day later.
