Quick Answers

What is the best way to breed a Floogull? toggle section
Breeding a Floogull involves combinations of Cybop and Kayna, Stogg and Tweedle, or Glowl and Noggin. Stogg and Tweedle is the preferred choice due to its shorter wait time for failed attempts. A Floogull and Rare Floogull combination ensures a Floogull if a Rare Floogull isn't available. A Common Floogull in the breeding attempt might yield a Rare Floogull.

The Triple-Element Fire Monster, Floogull, is accessible at Level 9. It was added to the game during the Fire Haven update on November 21, 2018. Breeding Noggin and Glowl is the optimal method to obtain Floogull. When Floogull reaches level 20, it can be teleported to Cave Island. A different variant, Rare Floogull, was introduced on July 4, 2019, during Version 2.3.0, and can be obtained by breeding Glowl and Noggin.

Floogull makes trombone and trumpet sounds which accompany the Glowl's song on the Continent. However, on Cave Island, its song changes from quick little outbursts to long-lasting, louder sounds.

VSTs[]

Virtual Studio Technology is an audio plugin software that has libraries of sound effects and synthesized instruments. Within these libraries are SoundFonts, which are the individual effects and instruments themselves. The Monster-Handlers utilize several VSTs to create the sounds of instrumental and sometimes vocal Monsters.

Feeding Monsters[]

Exclusively on Continent, Floogull will request for Crafting Items that are the products of Structures. If you cannot give the Monster the Crafting Items it requires, you can click the New Order button. After a 15 minute wait, it will ask for a new combination of Crafting Items.

Rewards[]

When given the wanted Crafting Item, like any Monster, it will reward you Coins (DoF) Coins, XP (DoF) Experience and will progress the Monster to the next Level. You can also give a Monster any other Crafting Item, but you won’t receive Coins or Experience for doing so.

Teleporting[]

Floogull can be teleported to Cave Island when fed to level 20 for a reward of 6 diamonds. Teleport time for Floogull is 20 hours.

Prismatic Variants[]

During limited time events when Prism Gate is open and Floogull is available for transformation on Outer Islands, an adult Floogull can be transformed into one of six different colored variants.

Notes[]

  • Floogull's name is derived from flugelhorn, a type of instrument, and gull, a type of bird, based on its bird-like appearance.
  • Each Prismatic Floogull has their own symbol on the sides of their body in-game, Green representing a Wi-Fi symbol, Purple representing an X symbol, Yellow representing a Toxic symbol, Orange representing a Fire symbol, Red representing a radioactive symbol, and finally Blue representing a down arrow.
    • These symbols are oddly absent from the fan kit images of the Prismatic Floogulls.
  • Floogull and Yelmut both have the same order of Prismatic rarities, going in rainbow order from least rare to most rare. Both start with Red as their most common Prismatic color, then keep going down the rainbow, ending with Purple as their rarest Prismatic color.
  • The Prismatic Floogulls released on the 5th anniversary of DoF on Android.
  • Its young portrait is different, as its sclera color of its right eye is green. This has been fixed.
    • This error still exists in its fan kit image.
