The Fire Islands consist of two islands in My Singing Monsters: Fire Haven and Fire Oasis, each containing one half of the Colossal spirit inhabiting Amber Island. The Fire Islands get their name due to the appearance of Fire Monsters, many of which were made breedable in the original game for the first time.
Fire Haven existed in My Singing Monsters: Dawn of Fire as the volcano next to the Continent. However, Fire Oasis was created by the Monsters themselves. The bio of Fire Oasis says:
After searching far and wide for remnants of the Outer Islands (unsuccessfully - they seem to have disappeared), the Monsters decided that if they couldn't find a suitable home, they'd create one!
About[]
Both Fire Islands contain a set of three Natural Elements and the Fire Element. Breeding on the Fire Islands works similarly to on the Natural Islands, meaning that each Fire Island has four Single-Element Monsters that must be hatched to breed the other Natural and Fire Monsters. Fire Haven has Tweedle, Potbelly, Noggin, and Kayna. Meanwhile, Fire Oasis has Tweedle, Mammott, Toe Jammer, and Kayna.
Obtaining[]
To unlock both islands, Earth Island must be bought first. Fire Haven costs 500,000 , and Fire Oasis costs 750,000 . Amber Island is unlocked after buying Fire Oasis.
Indigenous Monsters[]
The Fire Islands each have seven Natural Monsters and eight Fire Monsters. Seven of the Fire Monsters are hybrids who are obtained by breeding a Natural Monster with a Fire Monster. In general, Fire haven has 7 naturals and 9 fires, [with candelavra] and fire oasis has 8 naturals and fires, [with mimic].
In addition to these Monsters, each Fire Island has a Seasonal Monster, a Mythical Monster, the Dipsters, Wubbox, and a Quint-Element Fire Expansion Monster.
Rare and Epic variants exist for Natural, Fire, and Seasonal Monsters; Rare variants also exist for Mythical Monsters, Wubbox, and Quint-Element Monsters.
Notes[]
- On September 4th, 2019, a Fire Island called Fire Frontier was released with only three Elements. Big Blue Bubble held a campaign implying that the fourth Element would be chosen through a vote. However, it was later revealed that the fourth element would instead be the brand new Psychic Element, and that the island was actually Psychic Island, the first of the Magical Islands. Since its release as Fire Frontier, it was already meant to be a Magical Island, but it was first introduced as a Fire Island in order to surprise players.
- Originally, the four Magical Islands were planned to be more Fire Islands, but they later got reworked into the Magical Islands. This is because the original islands included a smaller amount of new Monsters compared to what today's Magical Islands include, making them repetitive. In the end, the Monster-Handlers favored the addition of 8 new monsters per island, instead of a quantity of new monsters that would decrease after Fire Oasis (similar to what happened with the Natural Islands when the game first released).
- Collectively, the four Magical Islands introduce four new Fire Monsters, only two less than Fire Oasis.
- Each Magical Island aside from Psychic Island was given a retroactive Fire Island-styled name by the Monster-Handlers in My Singing Monsters Live. These were Fire Park for Faerie Island, Fire Bastion for Bone Island, and Fire Fantasia for Light Island.
- Big Blue Bubble confirmed that there will be no more Fire Islands for now (not counting Amber Island).
- Although Amber Island is mainly inhabited by Fire Monsters, is themed around the Fire Element, and contains the same Colossal spirit, it is unknown whether it is considered to be a Fire Island. In-game text that reference the Fire Islands, such as the Canned Heat promotion and the Mythical Island help menu, imply that Amber Island is not counted as a Fire Island.
