My Singing Monsters

The feathered Rare Clambles perceive themselves as the destined protectors of the Monster realm (although what the Monster realm needs protection from, no one is sure). They forge and fortify their cast-off plates into pieces of armor they don to appear more formidable. In truth, their bark is worse than their bite, and it could be that these Monsters just enjoy dressing up.

Description[]

Rare Clamble is a Triple-Element Rare Monster. It was added on January 2nd, 2015 during Version 1.3.1. As a Rare Monster, it is only available at select times. It is best obtained by breeding or by purchasing from the StarShop. Its breeding combination is the same as its Common variant. By default, its breeding time is 15 hours and 30 minutes long. Although a Rare Monster, Rare Clamble still does not have high Coin production.

Breeding[]

Rare Clamble can be bred the same way as a Common Clamble. Possible combinations:

Any kind of breeding attempt which includes a Common Clamble may fail, and give a Rare Clamble as a result instead of the Common Clamble. This includes all of the breeding combinations that can't ever work in the usual way. In particular:

The Rare versions of any Monster can be used for breeding instead of the Common version. In addition, it is possible to breed a Rare Clamble and a Common Clamble together. The outcome will always be a Clamble and if a Rare Clamble is available at that time, it may result from this combination.

Availability[]

For a list of when this Monster has been available, see: Breeding Availability

Rare Clamble, like all Rare Natural and Fire Monsters, is only available for breeding and buying some of the time during special events. Examples of such events:

  • All Monsters that appear on a certain Island.
  • All Monsters with a specific element.
  • All Monsters with a specific theme.
  • A seemingly random selection of a handful of Monsters.

In particular, they are likely to appear during Special Occasions.

The exception is Rare Fire Monsters on Amber Island. These are evolved in the Crucible, and are available any time after the Crucible is unlocked (by having 15 Monsters on Amber Island).

Likes[]

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Rare Clamble:

Egg Consumption[]

While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Rare Wublins and Celestials can be used to "dispose of" Rare Clamble eggs immediately instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available. Note that doing this for Rare Wublins will cause the Wublin to stop producing currency and the eggs will not expire.

Note that Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" before awakening Rare Wublins and Celestials; afterwards those Monsters will not accept any eggs. Also note that Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Rare Clamble eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs. Rare Wublins have no time limit, and their egg inventories cannot be reset. Awakened Celestials only accept eggs during their corresponding Celestial month. When being zapped into Celestials as a Flex Egg, Rare Clamble is not required for the Celestial to ascend.

Possible Monster Names[]

  • "Mimm" is likely a nod to the then-scrapped Natural Quint-element Monster, Mimic, since it reuses its feathers.

Notes[]

  • Rare Clamble was the first Monster to be released in 2015.
    • It used to be the Monster that released earliest in a year out of any Monster in the original game, releasing on the 2nd of January, though it was then beaten by a day by Adult Hornacle, who released on January 1st, 2024.
  • Rare Clamble, along with Rare Quibble, was teased in a special holiday Rare Reprise image in 2014.
  • The feathers on Rare Clamble's back come from the feathers of the Mimic, the (then scrapped) Quint-element Natural Monster.
