“ | If there's a place where wishes come true, Faerie Island is that place. In the twinkling twilight and swirling mists stands the Faesodd Titan, outlandish and unlovely, dissembled by a mask of exquisite flowers and gleaming stigmata. Here, shrouded by the unusually billowy clouds, Faesodd and the native Faerie Elementals have dwelled, unperturbed by the outside world... until a group of Monsters is invited to join in the Island's jubilant song! | ” |
— In-game description |
About[]
Faerie Island is available to purchase for 1,500,000 Coins after unlocking Fire Haven. It is the second Magical Island, featuring Magical Monsters and manifesting the Faerie Element . It was added to the game on December 11th, 2019 during Version 2.3.5. It is home to 50 Monsters and 69 Costumes.
Song[]
Composer(s): Dave Kerr, Christopher Pollard, Sam Clark (Magical Monsters, Dipsters), Tom Meikle (Ffidyll, Krillby, PongPing, Tuskski), Dylan Cole (Krillby, PongPing, Tuskski)
Faerie Island’s song plays at a speed of 110 beats per minute, and is in the key of C major. The song is also available to download via the My Singing Monsters Soundtrack volume 2.
Faerie Island has an ambience similar to Plant Island’s, consisting of chirping birds and wind.
Song Table[]
This is a chart that shows where each Monster plays in the song. Each part is 8 beats long, meaning that one part is around 4.36 seconds long. The number next to each Monster indicates which track is being played at each part.
Indigenous Monsters[]
The Monsters of Faerie Island are of the Earth (), Cold (), Fire (), Faerie (), Cloverspell (), and Dipster () elements. Since Faerie Island lacks the Plant (), Air (), and Water () elements, no Monster with those elements can exist on it (except for Krillby, PongPing, and Tuskski, who are not obtained through breeding). Just as with Fire Haven and Fire Oasis, there is also a difference with Monsters that have the Fire Element, as they take longer to breed and are more difficult to obtain because of their long absence from the Monster World. This also applies to the Magical Monsters.
The list of indigenous Monsters is below with each Monster's class indicated in parenthesis.

Removing the Obstacles from the Island earns the player Experience (), and it opens up space to place more Monsters, Decorations, or Structures. Removed Obstacles are not gone permanently; they can be bought back with Diamonds () under the Decorations section in the Market. In total, it costs 2,052,000 to remove all Obstacles from the Island.

Castle[]
- Main article: Castle
To be placed on an Island, each Monster requires a specific number of beds. For Natural Monsters, this is equal to the number of elements that the Monster represents. Upgrade the Castle to unlock more beds.
Sound[]
The Castle also contributes to Faerie Island's song. It makes a bass sound.

Strategy[]
While the song of the Island is crucial, users may also want to use some of these numbers to help with planning which monsters to feed first and make 100% happy first, as well as plan frequency of coin collection. The numbers below are as follows:
Rate | Rate of income per bed at level 15 and at 100% happy |
Max | Maximum income per bed at level 15 |
Time | Time to maximum income at level 15 and at 100% happy (shown as Hours : Minutes : Seconds) |
It should be noted that Rate is halved and Time is doubled for 0% happy.

Upcoming Monsters[]
- Main article: Upcoming Features
More Rare Magicals and Fire Epics will be added to Faerie Island in future updates. Some of these monsters may release during the Cloverspell Seasonal event. Epic Magicals are also confirmed to release eventually, but not until most (if not all) Rare Magicals have been discovered first.[1] Like the rest of the Magical Islands, Faerie Island is also slated to get its own Titansoul at some point in the future, with Light Island having already gotten its own in Version 4.5 with the release of the Phosphoran Phlox.

Notes[]
- Some of Faerie Island's Monsters are based on certain fairy tales.
- The narrator in both the Faerie Island and Cloverspell trailers is Kayna's voice actress, Sarah Parsons, who also voices Parlsona, Glowl, Galvana, etc.
- Faerie Island and its respective update, Version 2.3.5, first appeared on December 11, 2019, the same day that Festival of Yay 2019 began.
- A scrapped Monster known as Floot Fly that used to share its elemental combination with Quarrister has been reintroduced as the base Monster of the Faerie Element.
- Faerie Island is the second island to reintroduce one Fire Hybrid as a monster. The first was Rootitoot on Psychic Island.
- Faerie Island's song is the same tempo and key as that of Cloud Island from Dawn of Fire. The same is true for the beginning of Psychic Island's song in relation to the end of Space Island's.
- Additionally, track 2 of Faerie Island's Castle bass has the same exact tune as Sneyser's second track on Cloud Island. Track 3 of Faerie's bass is also almost identical, except for the last bar where it plays A# and then G.
- Going further (in addition to the existence of Mirror Faerie Island), episode #59 of MSM Live confirmed that Faerie Island inhabits the area where Cloud Island once was.
- Track 1 of Faerie Island's bass has the same tune as track 1 of Cold Island's bass, except pitched up 100 cents, or up 1 note from B Major to C Major.
- Faesodd's name origin is the portmanteau of "fae", "facade", and possibly "face" and "odd".
- Faerie Island is the second island to have Drumpler play throughout the entire song. The first is Earth Island.
- The Island was found by Kayna, who was resting on a Babayag Tower that moved.
- The monsters on this island that lack the Faerie Element are the first seven monsters you unlock in Dawn of Fire.
- The Rock Obstacles on Faerie Island resemble different fairytale creatures. The small rock looks like a fairy, the medium rock looks like a gnome, and the big rock looks like some sort of troll with long hair covering its face. During Cloverspell, the Obstacles have different poses and look even more like fairytale creatures.
- Faerie Island is the only Magical Island without any Fire Expansion vocalists.
- According to the Monster-Handlers, the island wasn't originally a Magical Island and was instead a Fire Island, having the element of Air instead of Faerie. This means the Quad would've been Krillby.
- Monster Handler Matt made up the name "Fire Park" for the Fire Island version of Faerie Island in an MSM Live episode.[2]
- There is also a scrapped Floogull sound, which can be heard in Kayna's track, albeit very quietly.
- If they hadn’t switched gears to doing all new Monsters (as in the Magicals), then Faerie Island would’ve had 3 Seasonals. Those Seasonals being Hoola (Krillby has Pompom’s elements), Gobbleygourd (Krillby has Glowl’s elements), and its own seasonal. Meaning it would’ve had the most Seasonals of all the standard Breeding Islands when you exclude Seasonal Shanty.
- Faerie Island was the first Magical Island where all fifteen core Monsters were available at launch, as Psychic Island began as Fire Frontier before the Psychic Element was picked to be the fourth.
- There are a total of 90 mushrooms on Faerie Island.
- During the Wimmzies' part of the song, there is strangely a B-flat note which Stogg, Ffidyll, & the Castle use.
- Since Faerie Island's song is in the C Major key, that makes it the only island the Dipsters are on where the single note they sing appropriately matches what each one is named after.
- Natural Rares and Epics were first added onto this island on January 13th, 2021.
- The clouds surrounding Faerie Island create a dense fog that makes it hard to navigate.
- Krillby's sound on Faerie Island may come from a scrapped track for when it was the main Quad during that time. This is due to it having its 1st track sound very similar to Floot Fly's. Its 2nd track also matches well with Cantorell in terms of when it's played, and it does a little dance in time to HippityHop's track.
- Faerie Island, as well as Air Island, are floating.
- Coincidentally, they are also located near each other on the Torus Map.
- There is only one monster to have the Water Element on Faerie Island, which is Tuskski. There is also only one monster to have the Plant Element on Faerie Island, which is PongPing. There are also only two monsters to have the Air Element on Faerie Island, which are Krillby and Tuskski.
- With the Fire Expansion update, Faerie Island, and the other main Magical Islands, contain all five Natural Elements plus Fire.
- It and the rest of the main Magical Islands are also missing some of the monsters that contain the available elements, with the first being Shugabush Island and the second being Amber Island.
