Finally, a breed of Yawstrich whose seraphic appearance matches its equally angelic voice! Epic Yawstrich is the envy of all its furthered friends, revered for its subtle beauty and elegance. Its pillowy pink plumage evokes the whisper soft quality of its song. And that rosy hue! A product of its rigorourous [sic] Yaw-Yaw Fruit diet, its romantic coloring is nearly as delicate as its tender yodels. So graceful, so exquisite, so... so heavenly! What's that? You disagree? Well, I suppose there's no accounting for taste.

Breeding[]

Epic Yawstrich is only available for breeding (or buying) during limited time events.

The combination to breed Epic Yawstrich is different for each Island.

Note that when breeding for Mythical Monsters, it is not guaranteed that you will get the desired Monster. You might have to try multiple times. This is especially true for Epic Mythicals, which have a smaller chance to breed than Common or Rare Mythicals.

Availability[]

For a list of when this Monster has been available, see: Breeding Availability

Epic Yawstrich, like all Epic Mythicals, is only available for breeding and buying some of the time during special events.

Likes[]

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Epic Yawstrich:

  • Epic Yawstrich, like Epic Seasonals, has a different animation than its Common and Rare counterparts.
  • Epic Yawstrich's design seems to resemble a flamingo or roseate spoonbill.
  • Epic Yawstrich and Epic Hoola share a breeding combination on Air Island. They are the second pair of Epics to do this, with the first being Epic Viveine and Epic Quibble on Shugabush Island.
  • Epic Yawstrich references the One Piece character Donquixote Doflamingo.
    • Some of its default names reference the character.
      • "Furamingo" references Doflamingo's romanized name: "Donkihōte Dofuramingo".
      • "Korbuzkeh" references Brittney Karbowski, partial voice actor of Doflamingo.
      • "Quixenante" references Donquixote Rosinante, Doflamingo's brother.
      • "Yawffy" references One Piece protagonist Monkey D. Luffy, who defeated Doflamingo.
        • It could also reference "Doffy", a nickname Doflamingo has.
    • The "Yaw-Yaw Fruit" mentioned in its bio contains the same grammatical structure of romanticized Devil Fruit names (e.g. Doflamingo's String-String Fruit).
    • The use of "seraphic" in its bio might reference the Seraphim, a group of cyborgs having a cloned Doflamingo as a member.
    • While not a reference, both characters take inspiration from the flamingo.
  • Epic Yawstrich's talon's curved claw seems to replicate the Mythical Element symbol.
