To overcome this perceived genetic shortcoming, some Wynqs are able to activate latent traits and grow additional eyes and brains, transforming them into Epic Wynqs! Regrettably, Wynq's mathematical proficiency leaves a bit to be desired, and the eye to brain ratio is exactly the same as before. However, having multiple brains leads to some interesting side-effects; namely the consistency and quantity of the Monsters' 'furthers' undergo radical change, and it must constantly trim, bind and style them so they don't overwhelm its whole body.	”

Description

Epic Wynq is a Triple-Element Epic Fire Monster that is found on Fire Oasis and Amber Island. It was added on January 17th, 2024, during version 4.1.2. As an Epic Monster, it is only available at select times. When available, it is best obtained by breeding Congle and Boskus. By default, its breeding time is 1 day and 5 hours long. As a Fire Triple-Elemental, Epic Wynq has a fairly high Coin production, though Sneyser is recommended. Also note that unlike their Common and Rare variants, Epic Monsters cannot breed.

On Amber Island, Epic Wynq can only be obtained by successfully evolving a Wynq or a Rare Wynq that is at least level 4 via the enhanced Crucible. Its successful evolution time is 1 day and 5 hours long.

Epic Wynq, like all Epic Fire Monsters, is only available for breeding and/or buying some of the time during special events. Examples of such events:

• All Monsters that appear on a certain Island.
• All Monsters with a specific element
• All Monsters with a specific theme
• A seemingly random selection of a handful of Monsters

In particular, they are likely to appear during Special Occasions.

Likes

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree or a Primordial Monster of the same rarity on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Epic Wynq:

Note: On Amber Island, all of Epic Wynq's likes are only obtainable for a limited time. Amber Vessels must be revitalized before they count towards Epic Wynq's happiness.

Statistics

Earning Rate and Maximum Income

Earning rate is in Coins per minute or Relics per month (28 days) and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's level also increases this limit.

Note: Relic rates below level 4 are not possible in-game.

Feeding Monsters

Each Monster needs to be fed four times before it reaches the next level. Increasing the Monster's level increases the Coins earned per minute, as well as the maximum Coins earned.

Egg Consumption

Main article: Zapping

While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Epic Wublins can be used to "dispose of" Epic Wynq eggs immediately, instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available. Note that doing this for Rare and Epic Wublins will cause the Wublin to stop producing currency and the eggs will not expire.

Note that Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" before awakening Epic Wublins; afterwards those Monsters will not accept any eggs. Also note that Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Epic Wynq eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs. Epic Wublins have no time limit, and their egg inventories cannot be reset.

Notes

• The tip of Epic Wynq's head could be seen in the 2023 "The More The Merrier" promotion a month before its release, which many fans have believed it to be Epic Carillong.
  • Epic Ghazt, Carillong, Rare Bridg-it, and Bowhead were also teased in this manner.
• Epic Wynq's design resembles Chinese firecrackers, which could make sense since it released near Crescendo Moon.
• Epic Wynq's bio references adult Wynq's bio from Dawn of Fire.
• When it was first released, evolving it on Amber Island only needed 3 keys, and not the usual 7. This was later fixed.
