My Singing Monsters Wiki

Maybe there's something in the humid, maritime air around Fire Oasis that promotes diversification... because Epic Whaddle has fallen for it hook, line and sinker! The Fire Monster, already perfectly suited for aquatic activity, has sprouted new features to support longer stretches of time in the water: sensory antennae for closer inspection of nearby coral reefs; cycloid scales to reduce drag; and most noticeably scuba-like flippers replacing its characteristic palmiped feet. It's said that the four ears of Epic Whaddle have even developed a form of sonar, which can be used both above and below the water to track down the tastiest Treats.

Description[]

Epic Whaddle is a Triple-Element Epic Fire Monster that is found on Fire Oasis and Amber Island. It was added alongside Cahoot on May 12th, 2021, during version 3.1.0. As an Epic Monster, it is only available at select times. When available, it is best obtained by breeding Congle and Phangler. By default, its breeding time is 1 day and 1 hours long. As a Fire Triple-Elemental, Epic Whaddle has a fairly high Coin production, though Sneyser is recommended. Also note that unlike their Common and Rare variants, Epic Monsters cannot breed.

On Amber Island, Epic Whaddle can only be obtained by successfully evolving a Whaddle or a Rare Whaddle that is at least level 4 via the enhanced Crucible. Its successful evolution time is 1 day and 1 hours long.

See Whaddle.

Breeding[]

Epic Whaddle is only available for breeding (or buying) during limited time events.

Note that this breeding possibility is not guaranteed to produce an Epic Whaddle.

Availability[]

For a list of when this Monster has been available, see: Breeding Availability

Epic Whaddle, like all Epic Fire Monsters, is only available for breeding and/or buying some of the time during special events. Examples of such events:

  • All Monsters that appear on a certain Island.
  • All Monsters with a specific element
  • All Monsters with a specific theme
  • A seemingly random selection of a handful of Monsters

In particular, they are likely to appear during Special Occasions.

Likes[]

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree or a Primordial Monster on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Epic Whaddle:

Statistics[]

Earning Rate and Maximum Income[]

Earning rate is in Coins per minute or Relics per month (28 days) and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's level also increases this limit.

Note: Relic rates below level 4 are not possible in-game.

Egg Consumption[]

Main article: Zapping

While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Epic Wublins can be used to "dispose of" Epic Whaddle eggs immediately, instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available. Note that doing this for Rare and Epic Wublins will cause the Wublin to stop producing currency and the eggs will not expire.

Epic Whaddle

Epic Thwok

Note that Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" before awakening Epic Wublins; afterwards those Monsters will not accept any eggs. Also note that Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Epic Whaddle eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs. Epic Wublins have no time limit, and their egg inventories cannot be reset.
