“	Epic Strombonins ride upon ice drifts that float so far from shore, the bellowing cries of their molluscan Strombones can no longer be heard. Instead, the Epic opts for a roomier instrument and slightly stranger (but no less vocal) companion: the Fleech! Creepy crawly Fleeches bore tunnels through the glaciers of Cold Island using their round maws and ice pick-like fangs. The only way to catch a Fleech is to plug its tunnel with a perfectly shaped horn - and Epic Strombonin just so happens to have two atop its head! Once the Epic Mythical reaches old age, it sheds its gargantuan horns, donating them to younger apprentices to house their very first Fleech and echo its vocalization across vasty distances.	”

Description[]

Epic Strombonin is an Epic Mythical Monster found on Cold Island and Mythical Island. It was added alongside Hairionette, Rare Drummidary, Rare Bulbo, and Rare Cranchee on December 11th, 2024, during version 4.6.0. As an Epic Mythical Monster, it is only available at certain times across all Islands. It is best obtained by breeding Deedge and Furcorn. By default, its breeding time is 1 day, 10 hours, and 30 minutes long. Epic Strombonin has a high Coin production compared to other Monsters on Cold Island.

Epic Strombonin can either be teleported to Mythical Island once fed to level 15, or bred with Cataliszt and G'joob. Epic Strombonin has a high Coin production compared to other Monsters on Mythical Island.

Epic Strombonin is only available for breeding (or buying) during limited time events.

The combination to breed Epic Strombonin is different for each Island.

Cold Island: + Deedge and Furcorn
Mythical Island: + Cataliszt and G'joob
- May result in a Bleatnik. Can also result in a Rare G'joob, Rare Bleatnik, or a Rare Cataliszt if any are available

Note that when breeding for Mythical Monsters, it is not guaranteed that you will get the desired Monster. You might have to try multiple times. This is especially true for Epic Mythicals, which have a smaller chance to breed than Common or Rare Mythicals.

Feeding Monsters[]

Its instrument resembles curved horns like the buccina and the cornu, the former being an ancestor to the trombone which the Strombonins play.
The way Epic Strombonin sheds its horns at old age and donating it to younger apprentices is similar to how Bowgart sheds its horns to replace its old instrument.
Epic Strombonin is the last Epic Monster to be released in 2024.
