My Singing Monsters Wiki

Epic Riff's ability to shred on its symbiotic instrument is so impressive, its instrument needs two necks! But wait - is this instrument even alive? Of course it is! The eyeless, noseless, mouthless, and otherwise faceless instrument may have sacrificed its expressive visage for an extra neck, but it is still capable of communicating with its winged pal via forceful strums and playful twangs.

Description[]

Epic Riff is a Quad-Element Epic Monster found on Air Island. It was added on October 23rd, 2019, during version 2.3.2. As an Epic Monster, it is only available at select times. When available, it is best obtained by breeding PomPom and Quibble. By default, its breeding time is 1 day and 15 hours long. Epic Riff has a great Coin production, and is only beaten by Monsters with higher Coin production like Epic Reebro, Werdos, Rare Wubbox, and Epic Hoola, depending on your Coin collecting schedule. Also note, that unlike their Common and Rare variants, Epic Monsters cannot breed.

Likes[]

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree or a Primordial Monster of the same rarity on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Epic Riff:

Egg Consumption[]

Main article: Zapping

While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Epic Wublins can be used to "dispose of" Epic Riff eggs immediately, instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available. Note that doing this for Rare and Epic Wublins will cause the Wublin to stop producing currency and the eggs will not expire.

Note that Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" before awakening Epic Wublins; afterwards those Monsters will not accept any eggs. Also note that Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Epic Riff eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs. Epic Wublins have no time limit, and their egg inventories cannot be reset.
