Description

Epic Pango is a Double-Element Epic Monster. It was added on July 24th, 2019, during version 2.3.0. As an Epic Monster, it is only available at select times. When available, it is best obtained through breeding, with the combination varying from Island to Island. By default, its breeding time is 1 day and 3 hours long. Although an Epic Monster, Epic Pango does not have a high Coin production. Also note, that unlike their Common and Rare variants, Epic Monsters cannot breed.

The combination to breed Epic Pango is different for each Island.

Epic Pango, like all Epic Naturals are only available for breeding and/or buying some of the time during special events. Examples of such events:

• All Monsters that appear on a certain Island.
• All Monsters with a specific element.
• All Monsters with a specific theme.
• A seemingly random selection of a handful of Monsters.

In particular, they are likely to appear during Seasonal Events.

Likes

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree or a Primordial Monster of the same rarity on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Epic Pango:

Earning rate is in Coins per minute and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's level also increases this limit.

Feeding Monsters

Each Monster needs to be fed four times before it reaches the next level. Increasing the Monster's level increases the Coins earned per minute, as well as the maximum Coins earned.

Egg Consumption

Main article: Zapping

While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Epic Wublins can be used to "dispose of" Epic Pango eggs immediately, instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available. Note that doing this for Rare and Epic Wublins will cause the Wublin to stop producing currency and the eggs will not expire.

Note that Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" before awakening Epic Wublins; afterwards those Monsters will not accept any eggs. Also note that Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Epic Pango eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs. Epic Wublins have no time limit, and their egg inventories cannot be reset.

Notes

• Besides a usual teaser, Epic Pango was additionally teased in the SummerSong 2019 video, and on the SummerSong Loading Screen.
• Epic Pango's internal body temperatures are comparable to Mars or Jupiter (about -81° C).
• Epic Pango design is loosely based on the Macaroni Penguin.
• The ice cream on Epic Pango's belly is similar to how the Care Bears characters each possess their own unique symbol on their bellies.
  • Furthermore, Epic Pango's Season of Love Costume is an explicit reference to the Care Bears character Cozy Heart Penguin, with an identical belly badge, name, and other features similar to the character such as her white face, red heart on her beak, and yellow beak and feet.
• When 4.4.0 first released, Epic Pango mistakenly used its legacy Yay Costume in the Book of Monsters. This was later fixed.
• Despite the ice cream badge on Epic Pango's belly being Swurlee Nut flavored, the Swurlee Tree's description claims its fruits dissolve the moment they touch the ground, thus making them impossible to harvest.
