The lineage of Epic Noggin can be traced to the first Common settlers of Earth Island, the species' Elemental home. While many Noggins migrated to other islands, a select few stayed, preferring the volcanic rumblings and charcoal caverns of Earth Island to any other. Over time, this group's appearance began to mirror its surroundings, transforming into fierce and fiery Epics that now roam free.

Description[]

Epic Noggin is a Single-Element Epic Monster, and was the first Epic to be added, along with Epic Furcorn. It was added on September 5th, 2018 during the 2.2.2 6th Anniversary update. As an Epic Monster, it is only available at select times. When available, it is best obtained by breeding, which the combination varies from Island to Island. By default, its breeding time is 1 hour long. Although an Epic Monster, Epic Noggin still does not have high Coin production. Also note, that unlike their Common and Rare variants, Epic Monsters cannot breed.

Breeding[]

Epic Noggin is only available for breeding (or buying) during limited time events.

The combination to breed Epic Noggin is different for each island.

Note that these breeding possibilities are not guaranteed to produce an Epic Noggin.

Availability[]

For a list of when this Monster has been available, see: Breeding Availability

Epic Noggin, like all Epic Naturals are only available for breeding and/or buying some of the time during special events. Examples of such events:

  • All Monsters that appear on a certain Island.
  • All Monsters with a specific element.
  • All Monsters with a specific theme.
  • A seemingly random selection of a handful of Monsters.

In particular, they are likely to appear during Special Occasions.

Likes[]

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Epic Noggin:

See the Likes page to view a complete list of all Monsters' likes.

Note: A Rare Wubbox must be powered up before it counts towards Epic Noggin's happiness.

Notes[]

  • The Epic Noggin was one of the two first Epic Monsters added to the game.
  • Epic Noggin's eye is seen in the final trailer for the update in which it was added.
    • Its eye is also seen in one of the presents on the Givutawai Tree.
    • Many people thought Epic Noggin's eye was a Colossal when it was first shown. This was later referenced when Epic Noggin witnessed the Earth Island Colossal wake up in the Celestial Ascension trailer.
  • Epic Noggin and Epic PomPom are the only Epics that like a Rare.
  • The Rare Wubbox doesn’t need to be powered up in order for Epic Noggin to like it.
  • Epic Noggin has the shortest breeding/incubation time out of any Epic Monster, as it only takes one hour to breed/incubate.
    • This does not count Epic Wubbox, which doesn't have any incubation time due to only being bought with Diamonds.
