My Singing Monsters Wiki

The Epic Krillby roams across wide open plains, delighting in the freedom to stretch its mighty legs and move as it pleases. Its strikingly large ears can detect the faintest of sounds across its vast territory, including deep below the soil, where it finds rhythmic root vegetables like the rat-tat-tater. Once its vegetal quarry is heard, the Epic Fire Quad will sprint to its location and use its claws to burrow into the dirt. Its long muzzle creates the perfect straw to vacuum up tasty subterranean treats. Given that it may go miles and miles without spotting a stream or pond, Epic Krillby has evolved past the need for water and instead draws all of its hydration from the morsels it digs out of the ground. While the lands that Epic Krillbies patrol are far from one another, they still feel each other's presence through the distant sound of every footfall and claw clack - you might even say they are all apart together.
Monster Bio

Description[]

Epic Krillby is a Quad-Element Epic Fire Monster found on Faerie Island and Amber Island. It was added alongside Rare Cantorell on February 5th, 2025, during version 4.6.2. As an Epic Monster, it is only available at select times. When available, it is best obtained by breeding Pladdie and Kayna. By default, its breeding time is 1 day and 19 hours long. Epic Krillby has the best Coin production on Faerie Island, with a rate comparable to Rare Tuskski (though Rare Tuskski takes up more Beds). Also note that Epic Monsters cannot breed.

On Amber Island, Epic Krillby can only be obtained by successfully evolving a Krillby or a Rare Krillby that is at least level 4 via the enhanced Crucible. Its successful evolution time is 1 day and 19 hours long. Epic Krillby has a high Relic production compared to other Monsters on Amber Island.

Breeding[]

Epic Krillby is only available for breeding (or buying) during limited time events.

Note that this breeding possibility is not guaranteed to produce an Epic Krillby.

Availability[]

For a list of when this Monster has been available, see: Breeding Availability

Epic Krillby, like all Epic Fire Monsters, is only available for breeding and/or buying some of the time during special events. Examples of such events:

  • All Monsters that appear on a certain Island.
  • All Monsters with a specific element
  • All Monsters with a specific theme
  • A seemingly random selection of a handful of Monsters

In particular, they are likely to appear during Special Occasions.

Likes[]

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree or a Primordial Monster on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Epic Krillby:

See the Likes page to view a complete list of all Monsters' likes.

Note: On Amber Island, all of Epic Krillby's likes are only obtainable for a limited time. Amber Vessels must be revitalized before they count towards Epic Krillby's happiness.

Statistics[]

Earning Rate and Maximum Income[]

Earning rate is in Coins per minute or Relics per month (28 days) and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's level also increases this limit.

Note: Relic rates below level 4 are not possible in-game.

Egg Consumption[]

Main article: Zapping

While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Epic Wublins can be used to "dispose of" Epic Krillby eggs immediately, instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available. Note that doing this for Rare and Epic Wublins will cause the Wublin to stop producing currency and the eggs will not expire.

Note that Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" before awakening Epic Wublins; afterwards those Monsters will not accept any eggs. Also note that Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Epic Krillby eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs. Epic Wublins have no time limit, and their egg inventories cannot be reset.

Notes[]

  • Epic Krillby's design seems to be based on Faerie Island, much like how Epic Yelmut's design fits in with Light Island. This could be an homage to Krillby originally being planned to be Faerie Island's Quad, since the Magical Islands were first planned to be Fire Islands.
  • While all Krillbies are based partially on bilbies, Epic Krillby seems to be primarily based on them due to their prominent fur, giant ears, and gaining water through the food they eat.
  • The words "apart together" in Epic Krillby's bio reference Australian musician Tim Minchin's debut studio album, Apart Together.
    • This reference is supported by "Minchin" being a nickname an Epic Krillby can have, as well as Tim Minchin having directed a cancelled DreamWorks film about bilbies called Larrikins.
  • Epic Krillby is the first (and currently only) Epic Fire Monster on Amber Island to like a Double-Element Monster as its mystery like.
  • Epic Krillby is the first Fire Expansion Epic to be required by an Epic Wublin, in this case Epic Zuuker.
