Description[]

Epic Kayna is a Single-Element Epic Fire Monster that is first unlocked on Fire Haven, and was the first Fire Epic to be introduced. It was added on March 17th, 2021, during version 3.0.5. As an Epic Monster, it is only available at select times. When available, it is best obtained through breeding, with the combination varying from Island to Island. By default, its breeding time is 15 hours long. Although an Epic Monster, Epic Kayna still does not have high Coin production. Also note, that unlike their Common and Rare counterparts, Epic Monsters cannot breed.

On Amber Island, Epic Kayna can only be obtained by successfully evolving a Kayna or a Rare Kayna that is at least level 4 via the enhanced Crucible. Its successful evolution time is 15 hours.

On the Magical Islands, Epic Kayna is bred with the Quad Element Monster and the Natural Double Element Monster. For all the Islands, the breeding combinations have an increased chance of producing the Quad Element Monster egg from breeding failures in order to increase the difficulty of successfully breeding Epic Kayna. This still applies when Epic Kayna is not available.

Epic Kayna, like all Epic Naturals are only available for breeding and/or buying some of the time during special events. Examples of such events:

All Monsters that appear on a certain Island.
All Monsters with a specific element.
All Monsters with a specific theme.
A seemingly random selection of a handful of Monsters.

In particular, they are likely to appear during Seasonal Events.

Likes[]

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. Earning Rate and Maximum Income[]

Earning rate is in Coins per minute or Relics per month (28 days) and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's level also increases this limit.

Note: Relic rates below level 4 are not possible in-game.

Feeding Monsters[]

Egg Consumption[]

Main article: Zapping

While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Epic Wublins can be used to "dispose of" Epic Kayna eggs immediately, instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available. Note that doing this for Rare and Epic Wublins will cause the Wublin to stop producing currency and the eggs will not expire.

Note that Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" before awakening Epic Wublins; afterwards those Monsters will not accept any eggs. Also note that Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Epic Kayna eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs. Epic Wublins have no time limit, and their egg inventories cannot be reset.

Epic Kayna was teased in a Limited Sale called Fan Service as a silhouette.
Epic Kayna was revealed on My Singing Monsters: Fandemonium, and is one of only four Monsters to have been revealed that way, the others being Déjà-Jin, Rare Wimmzies, and Larvaluss.
The greatly increased probability of getting a Quad-Elemental when attempting to breed Epic Kayna, even when it is not available, is likely an intentional design choice to efficiently obtain Quads, as they are difficult to breed otherwise. This can be an efficient way of obtaining eggs for Celestials or Vessels.
Epic Kayna always likes a Triple-Element Fire Monster on all of the Islands where it is found. On the Fire Islands, the Triple-Element Monster chosen is the only one that does not have the Air Element.
Unlike Rare Kayna, who was the last rare of the Fire Class at the time of release, Epic Kayna is the first Epic of the Fire Class
