Monster Bio

Description[]

Epic Hoola is an Epic Seasonal Monster that celebrates the SummerSong season and is found on Air and Earth Island. It was added on July 17th, 2019 during Version 2.3.0. As an Epic Seasonal Monster, it is only available at certain times. It is best obtained by breeding, which the combination varies from island to island. By default, its breeding time is 21 hours and 20 minutes long. Although Epic Hoola does not have a good Coin production when collecting once per day, when collecting multiple times it can rival other Monsters such as Ethereals or Quad-elements.

Epic Hoola can either be teleported to Seasonal Shanty once fed to level 15, or bred with a Schmoochle and Yool. Epic Hoola has the best coin production compared to the other Monsters.

Breeding[]

Epic Hoola is only available for breeding (or buying) during limited time events.

The combination to breed Epic Hoola is different for each island.

Note that these breeding possibilities are not guaranteed to produce an Epic Hoola.

Availability[]

For a list of when this Monster has been available, see: Breeding Availability

Epic Hoola, like all Epic Seasonals, is only available for short durations during their own season, a weekend Out-of-Season event (6 months apart) and during the Anniversary Month Celebration.

Likes[]

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Epic Hoola:

Notes[]

  • It was revealed in the trailer for SummerSong 2019.
  • Epic Hoola was released exactly when Epic Shellbeat's debut breeding promotion ended.
  • It seems to play around with its hoop when it sings, more than its common and rare counterparts.
    • On Air Island, it holds the hoop, then throws it above its head.
    • On Earth Island, it holds the hoop parallel to it, jumps through the hoop, then back out.
    • On Gold Island, it accidentally drops its hoop and then uses its foot to kick it back up.
    • On Seasonal Shanty, it holds its hoop up to its face & poses.
  • Its Breeding/Incubation Times are shorter than its Common and Rare Counterparts.
  • In the trailer for SummerSong 2019 right at the last frame before the name outro Epic Hoola can be seen blushing around Shugabush (some people think that this means Monsters have genders, but they don't).
  • Epic Hoola is the last Epic Seasonal with a non-unique egg design, as all other Rares & previous Epics got one in 2.3.2.
  • Epic Hoola was the last Epic Core Seasonal to be introduced to Seasonal Shanty. Epic Hoola arrived on Seasonal Shanty during Summer Song 2022 alongside its rare counterpart.
