My Singing Monsters Wiki

Not to be mistaken for a Common donning its cold-weather coat, the Epic Furcorn is another breed entirely. A subspecies that has thoroughly embraced its Cold Element half, the Epic Furcorn forgoes flattening its pelt for warmth in favor of exposing itself to the icy chill. Its subzero body temperatures have had visible effects on this fuzzball's physique, fading it blue from tuft to toenail.

Description[]

Epic Furcorn is a Double-Element Epic Monster, and was the first Epic to be added, along with Epic Noggin. It was added on September 5th, 2018, during version 2.2.2. As an Epic Monster, it is only available at select times. When available, it is best obtained through breeding, with the combination varying from Island to Island. By default, its breeding time is 17 hours long. Although an Epic Monster, Epic Furcorn still does not have high Coin production. Also note, that unlike their Common and Rare variants, Epic Monsters cannot breed.

Breeding[]

Epic Furcorn is only available for breeding (or buying) during limited time events.

The combination to breed Epic Furcorn is different for each Island.

Note that these breeding possibilities are not guaranteed to produce an Epic Furcorn.

Availability[]

For a list of when this Monster has been available, see: Breeding Availability

Epic Furcorn, like all Epic Naturals are only available for breeding and/or buying some of the time during special events. Examples of such events:

  • All Monsters that appear on a certain Island.
  • All Monsters with a specific element.
  • All Monsters with a specific theme.
  • A seemingly random selection of a handful of Monsters.

In particular, they are likely to appear during Seasonal Events.

Likes[]

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree or a Primordial Monster of the same rarity on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Epic Furcorn:

Egg Consumption[]

Main article: Zapping

While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Epic Wublins can be used to "dispose of" Epic Furcorn eggs immediately, instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available. Note that doing this for Rare and Epic Wublins will cause the Wublin to stop producing currency and the eggs will not expire.

Note that Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" before awakening Epic Wublins; afterwards those Monsters will not accept any eggs. Also note that Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Epic Furcorn eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs. Epic Wublins have no time limit, and their egg inventories cannot be reset.

Notes[]

  • Epic Furcorn was one of the first Epic Monsters released, along with the Epic Noggin on September 5th, 2018. Interestingly, the Rare Furcorn was also the first Rare Monster to be released, and Furcorn was the first Monster to be designed for MSM.
  • Epic Furcorn was the first Monster to have a Dipster as a like.
  • Epic Furcorn is one of the first Epics to dress up for both Spooktacle and the Festival of Yay.
  • The Big Blue Bauble costume is a play on Big Blue Bubble, the developers of My Singing Monsters.
  • Epic Furcorn's description mentions that it fluffs up its pelt to let in icy air and make itself colder; however, doing so would realistically trap air in its fur, keeping it insulated and therefore warm.
