“ | That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet; in this case, that name is Epic Edamimi! A sublime fragrance nearly unrivaled in the Monster World emanates from every petal on the Epic Fire Monster's body. But every rose has its thorns - its body is replete with prickly brier points and its facial features have been referred to as fearsome. It's the contrast between smell and sight that makes the Epic Edamimi such an intriguing academic specimen, and much research has been devoted to better understanding its idiosyncrasies. Something on which we can all agree: this Monster is out of this world! | ” |

Description[]
Epic Edamimi is a Quad-Element Epic Fire Monster that is found on Psychic Island and Amber Island. It was added alongside Epic Anglow and Rare Pinghound on April 2nd, 2025, during version 4.7.2. As an Epic Monster, it is only available at select times. When available, it is best obtained by breeding Gloptic and Potbelly. By default, its breeding time is 1 day and 21 hours long. Epic Edamimi has the best Coin production on Psychic Island, with a rate comparable to Rare Bowhead (though Rare Bowhead takes up more Beds). Also note that Epic Monsters cannot breed.
On Amber Island, Epic Edamimi can only be obtained by successfully evolving a Edamimi or a Rare Edamimi that is at least level 4 via the enhanced Crucible. Its successful evolution time is 1 day and 21 hours long. Epic Edamimi has a high Relic production compared to other Monsters on Amber Island.

Breeding[]
Epic Edamimi is only available for breeding (or buying) during limited time events.
Note that this breeding possibility is not guaranteed to produce an Epic Edamimi.
Availability[]
- For a list of when this Monster has been available, see: Breeding Availability
Epic Edamimi, like all Epic Fire Monsters, is only available for breeding and/or buying some of the time during special events. Examples of such events:
- All Monsters that appear on a certain Island.
- All Monsters with a specific element
- All Monsters with a specific theme
- A seemingly random selection of a handful of Monsters
In particular, they are likely to appear during Special Occasions.
Likes[]
Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree or a Primordial Monster on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Epic Edamimi:

Statistics[]
Earning Rate and Maximum Income[]
Earning rate is in Coins per minute or Relics per month (28 days) and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's level also increases this limit.
Note: Relic rates below level 4 are not possible in-game.
Psychic Island[]
Amber Island[]
Feeding Monsters[]
Each Monster needs to be fed four times before it reaches the next level. Increasing the Monster's level increases the Coins earned per minute, as well as the maximum Coins earned.
