My Singing Monsters Wiki

Epic Deedges are born with their head in the clouds, but cranial implants help their intellect reach new heights! These computer-savvy cyclopes make a handy sidekick to any Monster seeking to spruce up a hunk o' junk. Epic Deedge's true passion lies in upgrading its sweet sound equipment with state-of-the-art Shuga Crystal technology, harvested from the sap of Shugabush Island Trees. Gritty Shuga Crystals amplify Barbloo-tooth connectivity at the cost of a few scuffed paws.
Monster Bio

Description[]

Epic Deedge is a Quad-Element Epic Monster found on Cold Island. It was added on January 15th, 2019, during version 2.2.5. As an Epic Monster, it is only available at select times. When available, it is best obtained by breeding Bowgart and Pango. By default, its breeding time is 1 day and 17 hours long. Epic Deedge has a great Coin production on Cold Island and is the best Coin producer on Shugabush Island. On Cold Island, it is only beaten by Monsters with higher Coin production like Werdos, Rare Wubbox, or Epic Yool depending on your Coin collecting schedule. Also note that unlike Common and Rare Monsters, Epic Monsters cannot breed.

Availability[]

For a list of when this Monster has been available, see: Breeding Availability

Epic Deedge, like all Epic Naturals are only available for breeding and/or buying some of the time during special events. Examples of such events:

  • All Monsters that appear on a certain Island.
  • All Monsters with a specific element.
  • All Monsters with a specific theme.
  • A seemingly random selection of a handful of Monsters.

In particular, they are likely to appear during Seasonal Events.

Likes[]

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree or a Primordial Monster of the same rarity on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Epic Deedge:

Earning Rate and Maximum Income[]

Egg Consumption[]

Main article: Zapping

While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Epic Wublins can be used to "dispose of" Epic Deedge eggs immediately, instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available. Note that doing this for Rare and Epic Wublins will cause the Wublin to stop producing currency and the eggs will not expire.

Note that Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" before awakening Epic Wublins; afterwards those Monsters will not accept any eggs. Also note that Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Epic Deedge eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs. Epic Wublins have no time limit, and their egg inventories cannot be reset.

Notes[]

  • Epic Deedge was the first Epic Monster to be released in 2019.
  • Just like its Common and Rare variants, Epic Deedge is confirmed to have no legs or feet.
  • Several features of an original Deedge drawing concept have been incorporated into the Epic Deedge. Initially, the Deedge appeared to have heavy Water Element references as well as Cold Element references.
  • The word "Barbloo-tooth" on the line of its description "Gritty Shuga Crystals amplify Barbloo-tooth connectivity at the cost of a few scuffed paws" is a reference to the real-life wireless technology Bluetooth.
  • Epic Deedge's mechanical head implants may be based on Lobot from Star Wars.
  • Despite Epic Deedge's bio stating it harvests sap from Shugabush Island's trees, it was NOT on Shugabush Island upon its initial release.
    • It was, however, added there on August 4th, 2021, in version 3.2.2, along with the other Epic Naturals.
