My Singing Monsters Wiki

Looking like it was plucked right out of a pool of lava, the Epic Cherubble takes the notion of 'knowing my nightmares' to the literal level. Rather than spiny cerata, it sports a cavernous Snayle-like shell upon its back which resembles an eerie, yawning face and hosts the creepy nightmare creatures made manifest. No, these are neither Blubberflies nor Algaernons - they are the product of this paranoid Epic Mythical's overactive imagination, brought to life accidentally via a surfeit of dreamcraft. Our best guess is that the Epic Cherubble sought to imagine itself a shell to protect itself from these frightful friends, but it proved to be a suitable home for them instead! Nevertheless, a constant state of being on edge is what has helped this unlikely combination of misfits to survive near the volatile hydrothermal vents where the living ocean and core meet. This fascinating specimen has also helped to untangle some of the knots in the multi-Class Playbackyderm family by highlighting a phenomenon exclusive to the Monster World - inspirational evolution. Woolabee and Peckidna are 'derivative drafts' of this ancient Monster, whose respective creators sought to match the charm and imaginativeness of the original with their own concepts.

Breeding[]

Epic Cherubble is only available for breeding (or buying) during limited time events.

The combination to breed Epic Cherubble is different for each Island.

Note that when breeding for Mythical Monsters, it is not guaranteed that you will get the desired Monster. You might have to try multiple times. This is especially true for Epic Mythicals, which have a smaller chance to breed than Common or Rare Mythicals.

Likes[]

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree or a Primordial Monster on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Epic Cherubble:

Notes[]

  • The phrase "knowing my nightmares" in Epic Cherubble's bio references Knowing My Nightmares, a podcast by Monster-Handler Charlie.
  • Unlike its Common and Rare variants, Epic Cherubble's eyes are open during its idle and playing animations and closed during its mute animation.
    • This is possibly due to the Monster's paranoia or its fear of its critters keeping it awake. It also appears to be clutching its eyes.
  • Epic Cherubble's design is based on the scaly-foot gastropod, a gastropod that lives in hot, deep-sea environments, primarily near hydrothermal vents as referenced in Epic Cherubble's bio.[1] This snail incorporates iron sulfide into its own exoskeleton, creating scaly and armorlike growths, which may have inspired the rocky shell on Epic Cherubble's design. Like the snail, the soft parts of Epic Cherubble's body are also bright reddish-orange. The gills on the sides of its head resemble those on the rears of certain nudibranchs.
  • Assuming every Monster is at Level 20 with 100% Happiness, Epic Cherubble has the lowest Coin earning rate compared to the amount of Treats it was fed.
