“	Each sentient being has its own 'inner world' - a place where it can retreat from the pressures of daily life. In the case of eRmA gUrDy - yes, that's its full name - no, the mixed case spelling is not negotiable - uh, where were we? Right - in the case of eRmA gUrDy, the Mutual Paironormal, 'inner world' takes on a completely different meaning. The Monster's entire body is made up of a viscous, organic substance that occurs naturally in the deepest parts of the Beyond, and which serves as a vivarium for other lifeforms from even deeper parts. In its Major 'eRmA' form, the five-limbed body shelters the smaller lifeforms, and in exchange, they facilitate the performance of delightful music by swirling around in the substance. A perfect example of sefless[sic] mutualism, with neither side in control of the other… but things aren't quite as rosy in its 'gUrDy' form. The environmental quirks of the Minor Carnival cause the substance to undergo a chemical transformation that dissolves its eyes, and suddenly the Monster decides to commandeer the living arrangement. In response, the lifeforms mount a defense and secrete hard 'teeth' that they use to try and burrow out of the substance. Ultimately, gUrDy gathers up the 'teeth' and strives to continue its musical performance, and the lifeforms begrudgingly act as the Monster's 'eyes' to navigate the walkways of the Carnival.	”

Description

eRmA gUrDy, is a Double-Element Paironormal Monster found on Paironormal Carnival. It was added alongside Fandhul, bbli$zard, Epic Gheegur, Epic Rooba, and Epic Cranchee on December 10th, 2025, during version 5.2.0. It is best obtained by breeding Hairionette and Shhimmer. By default, its breeding time is 1 day and 21 hours long. As a Double-Element Paironormal, eRmA gUrDy has a low Starpower production. The Goal for placing your first eRmA gUrDy rewards the player with 15 Diamonds (). eRmA gUrDy can also be Fugued in the Centri-Fugue for 250 Starpower () to fill its opposite form. Its successful Fuguing time is 1 day and 21 hours.

Minor eRmA gUrDy, like all other Minor Paironormals on Paironormal Carnival Minor Mode, will produce Wildcards (), but at no specified rate. This rate can be increased by pairing its Major and Minor forms.

Feeding Monsters

Each Monster needs to be fed four times before it reaches the next level. Increasing the Monster's level increases the Coins earned per minute, as well as the maximum Coins earned.

Notes

• eRmA gUrDy's name comes from a combination of ermahgerd, a humorously altered pronunciation of "oh my God", popularized by an internet meme of a teenage girl holding Goosebumps books and "hurdy gurdy", the instrument it plays.
• eRmA gUrDy (along with bbli$zard) is the second Monster to not have its name start with a capital letter, with the first one being shLep.
• eRmA gUrDy's design may be a play on the phrase "butterflies in my stomach", as the lifeforms which reside and swirl around inside eRmA gUrDy's body (particularly in its Major form), resemble butterflies.
• eRmA gUrDy is described as the Mutual Paironormal.
• eRmA gUrDy is the first ever Paironormal Hybrid with the Depths Element.
• In the 5.2.0 trailer, Grumpyre sleeps next to a poster of eRmA gUrDy that has Monstrous text in a style similar to the Impact typeface. The text reads "eRmA gUrDy, The Feeling Is Mutual".
• In the left leg of the Monster in its Minor form, one of its lifeforms can be seen, most likely deceased. This would make eRmA gUrDy the first Monster to possibly include a corpse inside of it.
• The chemical change in its Minor form not only dissolves its eyes, but also hardens its body, as it is no longer translucent. This explains why the lifeforms need to secrete the ‘teeth’ to escape.
• Despite what the bio says, two of eRmA-gUrDy’s eyes persist in its Minor form's hands. These are likely non-functional or are in a bad place to be used for sight.
• eRmA-gUrDy is most likely the Monster teased in the “Frisson Trigger” DOMA report: “MA321.322” matches with the Hornbostel-Sachs number that the hurdy-gurdy falls under (321.322: necked guitars/box lutes; 321.322.72: hurdy-gurdy). MA321.322 is also under the category “burden” and the report uses the word “drone”; both words are used to describe the accompaniment sound produced by instruments like the hurdy-gurdy.
• For whatever reason, trying to breed anything other than Scallyrags with eRmA-gUrDy on Paironormal Carnival doesn't work. No possible results are shown, and a pop up appears saying "Whoops! This breeding combination won't work right now." This is most likely due to it currently being the only Paironormal hybrid with the Depths element.
