The Dream Crafter is an enigmatic entity related to the Stair Shaper known for the creation of Mythical Island. It was first found by Cataliszt who stumbled upon it when traveling across dreams after it woke up a Mammott. The Dream Crafter scared Cataliszt at first but after taking a new form, Cataliszt calmed down and they worked to create Mythical Island. After seeing that Cataliszt was lonely, it decided to take a piece of the Lunapparatus and transform it into a companion. After this, the Dream Crafter took the form of Mythical Island's moon Critter.
Its backstory was revealed in a Community Collaboration, titled "Plucks of the Cradle".

- The Dream Crafter can take many forms, one being the form of the Mythical Island critter.
- The small yellow form in itself bears a striking resemblance to a Yellow Pikmin from the Pikmin series, however this is coincidental. The specific head shape resembles Sanderson Mansnoozie, more specifically in this book cover, who is an entity related to dreams and the moon.
- The Dream Crafter has been seen a few times, most recently in Plucks of the Cradle.
- The Dream Crafter and the Stair Shaper are both very similar, as they are both Alien Entities that made classes in the Monster World.
- The Dream Crafter helped Cataliszt to get a new friend, that being Rare Cataliszt.
