Strategy[]
As with all other Quads, Deedge is very strong with a versatile moveset, but with a lot of weaknesses. However, Deedges are not good for battling Oaktopi and Spunges prior to reaching level 10
Costume Choices:
Vintage Speakers provides Deedge with a Musical coverage, as it is not resisted by any monster regardless of element, but this means no monster is weak to it either. However, Deedge lost its Plant () move when equipped, so it cannot deal strong damage against Toe Jammers. It is also not good for battling Oaktopi and Spunges until the Deedge reaches level 15.
Ore So Vein provides Deedge with an Earth () attack, allowing it to deal strong damage to Air-element monsters.
Notes[]
The name of the "Ore So Vein" costume references the Carly Simon song "You're So Vain".
Update 3.2.0 permanently changed the price of many costumes. Vintage Speakers changed from 60 (discounted) and 90 (full price) to 40 (discounted) and 60 (full price).
Deedge was the last Quad-element Monster to get a move to cover for the element it doesn't have, being Earth ().
Deedge's Cousin Steady costume used to cost 20 , but this was later changed.
The name of the "Cousin Steady" costume may be a reference to Cousin Eddie, a character from the National Lampoon's Vacation movie series.
