Crescendo Moon is an Auxiliary Seasonal Event celebrated on Magical Sanctum, and is an element manifested by Carillong. It is the Monster World equivalent of New Year's (taking lots of inspiration from Lunar New Year), and is celebrated from mid or late January to the end of January or mid-February. It is also celebrated during a short-term Out of Season Event in mid-July during SummerSong, and in a Time of the Season promotion during Anniversary Month.
During Crescendo Moon, the following are available: Carillong (and its Rare and Epic variants), event themed Costumes, event themed Decorations, event themed Obstacles, and the Seasonal Island Skin. There are also special sales and promotions, and sometimes new content is released.

In 2023, an Island Skin with helpful boosts was released for Magical Sanctum. The skin decorates the island for the Crescendo Moon season and changes the appearances of Obstacles. It is available to purchase for 
1,250 or $5 USD, but a trial is also available for free for the duration of the event.

Below details the history of past Crescendo Moon celebrations.
Crescendo Moon 2023[]
Crescendo Moon started on Wednesday, January 18th and ended on Monday, January 30th. This was the first celebration of Crescendo Moon that started off with Carillong and Rare Xyster making their debut on Magical Sanctum. The Pocket Dimension Islands, Ethereal Island and Magical Sanctum, had received their very own Crystalline Castle upgrades, revolving around the long forgotten Krystillium Crystal. The Crescendo Moon Island Skin was also released.
Crescendo Moon 2024[]
Crescendo Moon started on Wednesday, January 31st and ended on Monday, February 12th. A week before the event started, on January 24th, Carillong was made available to buy and breed on Magical Sanctum for the 'Almost in Season' promotion; in order to give players more time to breed Carillong for Adult Hornacle's inventory before it expired at the end of the month. A day before the event started, the Dipsters were added to Magical Sanctum, and Rare Fleechwurm was made available to evolve on Wublin Island. Rare Knucklehead and Adult Furnoss were also added on the same day, but they were not available until January 31st and February 1st respectively. When the event started, four new Seasonal Costumes (for Xyster, Déjà-Jin, Mushaboom, and Dragong) and four new Seasonal Decorations (the Floating Lanterns, the Peony Wheel, the Jade Lion, and the Magic Envelope) were released. This is also the first Crescendo Moon to feature Rare Carillong, which released during Carillong's Out of Season event in July last year. Epic Carillong was later discovered on its respective Islands on February 7th.
Crescendo Moon 2025[]
Crescendo Moon started on Wednesday, January 22nd and ended on Monday, February 3rd. It kicked off with 4 Seasonal Costumes (Theremind, Osstax, Frondley, and Ghazt). During the event, Rare G'day and Epic Dragong were added. The event also introduced the Seasonal Snacks update in Version 4.6.2.
Promotions[]
Strange Magic[]
This promotion is not exclusive to Crescendo Moon, but it did happen during Crescendo Moon 2023. During this promotion, all Rare Magicals become available to buy or breed.
Over the Moon[]
This promotion happened at the end of Crescendo Moon 2024. During the promotion, all Magical Sanctum Rares become available to buy or breed. This promotion gave players a chance to collect the Light Element Rare Flex Eggs for Adult Furnoss.
Almost in Season[]
This promotion happened during the last week of January 2024, one week before Crescendo Moon officially started. Carillong became available to buy or breed on Magical Sanctum, but the rest of the Crescendo Moon exclusive content, including the Island Skin and Seasonal Decorations, did not become available until the actual event. This promotion was done to give players a chance to breed a Carillong for Adult Hornacle before the end of January, since most of Crescendo Moon 2024 happened in February. The promotional image also includes a teaser for an upcoming costume during the event, such as Koi With Me.
A Rare Phase[]
During this promotion, Rare Carillong becomes available on Magical Sanctum and Seasonal Shanty.

During this promotion, Epic Carillong becomes available on Magical Sanctum and Seasonal Shanty.
Harmonic Scales[]

Crescendo Moon's Out of Season Event sale happens 6 months after Crescendo Moon and falls in mid-July during SummerSong.

This promotion took place during Crescendo Moon's Out of Season event. The Monsters available in the promotion represent the 5 Elemental Phases. During this promotion, Rare and Epic Entbrat (representing Wood), Rare and Epic Sneyser (representing Fire), Rare and Epic Quarrister (representing Earth), Rare and Epic Reebro (representing Metal), and Rare and Epic Shellbeat (representing Water) became available on their respective Islands.

- Like Eggs-Travaganza and Beat Hereafter, Crescendo Moon has had its starting month vary from year to year. In 2023, it was entirely in January. In 2024, it was almost entirely in February.
- Depending on the date Lunar New Year is celebrated in the Human World, Crescendo Moon and the Season of Love can overlap with one another. So far, this has only happened in 2024.
- The hourglass seen in the Crescendo Moon element icon is present on top of Carillong's "Chimekeeper". Strangely, the sand inside it never seems to move.
- Crescendo Moon is the first Seasonal Event to occur each calendar year, unless the end of Festival of Yay is counted.
- Crescendo Moon is the second new Seasonal Event to be celebrated during Anniversary Year.
- It was also the first new Seasonal Event to debut during 2023.
